Great conversation. In my approach as a shamanic practitioner, hypnotherapist and holistic counselor, I use the "parts model", and unless the client themselves is comfortable with the notion of "spirit possession" or "power intrusion," I frame my intervention in terms of ""energies" that are active at a conscious or unconscious level. If they're problematic to the client, then we want o uncover why they are perceived as such, and as Mr. Falconer says, discern what positive role they might instead be trying to play in the person's inner ecology. "My intention is my protection" - wow I did not know the Dalai Lama said that, but that is what I've used in my years of paranormal experience with spirits and entities, it never fails me. I've put myself into a LOT of vulnerable scenarios with spirits and hauntings over the years, and deal with them daily now basically, as they fill my home/property, and I always believed that as long as your heart is pure (intention) and that you remain aware of and act in a way that is connected to your divine nature, your Buddahood, whatever you want to call it, that these beings and energies have little reason to bother you, or have little interest. But the good, divinely-inspired beings will hop and bounce and move around you everywhere you go. I post examples of this on my channel if interested (non-monetized).

When my daughter was in her early 20's, she told me that once she did not come when I called when she was 5 because there was a "mean clown in the hallway that wouldn't let her pass". I felt so bad when I heard that. I don't know what I would have done at the time had I known, but probably rebuked it and prayed for protection. So this is a very interesting discussion

If you shine bright, arrive with or develop higher vibration during your life you will be see by a greater spiritual world. Both higher and lower spirits will be able to see you wether you want to be seen or not. Better to embrace and learn about the world that you shine in.

Yes, why do they scream at you (in your head) at times? Once it was when I was explaining a Bible passage. Another time was when my ex had something screaming in his head for a year to kill himself. What is the deal with that?
