you're misrepresenting things he said by putting a conversation with maron where he was talking about the comedy central roast and footage of the espn awards.
@whatimtalkingabout4093
@whatimtalkingabout4093 2 жыл бұрын
Well yes. The conversation was about Bob Saget roast but he was roasting those huge celebrities at the ESPYs as well. So it isn't much of a misrepresentation if you don't look too much into who's talking about what instead if you focus on what they're saying, it wouldn't be too far in both cases. He got much more controversy and public flac for his ESPY stint. So it's gotta do much more with the emotions rather than reality,.... as it were. In short, sometimes it's better to manipulate elements in order to convey a point but only if it doesn't hurt anyone or falsifies anything. And in this case, people did think he was crazy for telling the OJ joke at the ESPYs. Still, I apologise if I have offended you. (Something Norm wouldn't approve)

 @What I'm Talking About. In Journalism, manipulating context in this way is a huge NO, NO. Pretty much professional suicide. However, you're probably not trying to be a credible news source so guess it does not matter that much. But in my opinion it is a poor practice either way.

Exactly. It's not the jokes that I love so much, because some are really bad, it's the character he played for so many years (an old rube) and HOW he gets to the jokes. He would digress so much before getting to the punchline that you forgot he was in the middle of a joke, so the punchline would catch you off-guard and hit harder. It's actually a principle of hypnosis called "Fractionation" that really sets him apart.

Conon looks like he had so much fun with Norm around. After watching alot of comedians talk about Norm it really it sad to know how reclusive he was during his last years but I totally understand his reasoning to not want loved ones to see him so low.. society has this way of overlooking things until theyre gone. Sad part is i always knew of and enjoyed his tv shows ans movies but only found his stand up a few months before he passed. Couldn’t believe it when it happened, RIP Norm. Forever cemented in Comedy history. I really do think he was one of the greatest of all time. His vision and comedy style was just above the casual viewers head. His rewatch value is so high. We all still ♥️Janice♥️ she really was the best, and everyone knows her estate funds this whole city block, and all the JANITORS that come and clean up our mess around here, not just in this one building but in all of them. That’s her true legacy to all of us old chunks of coal. So face it , if you had given that poor soul a clue and said.... LOOK AT IT......then he might have understood your post or at least your POINT u TRUNCHEON.☮️ 😂👊 Sincerely, Im going outside and sweeping off the leaves or gum wrappers , cigbuts or whatever’s out there to make a spot for the next private investigation that comes in here and stinks up the joint😂😂👊💎♥️RIPJANICE♥️💎

Hey Thom who is droller than us all, I heard a news report about that guy, if I recall I was something about his public speaking tour...... Earlier this week, In an attempt to make himself feel smarter, Andy Richter gave a speech in front of 4000 Amway members. In a futile attempt to rebuild his shattered confidence after he was unable to understand the definition of a Ponzi scheme, next week Andy will be giving a speech in front of 4 Mongoloid toddlers..... .........Or as they’re referred to these days, scions of Genghis Khan that can barely walk.......
