Exactly the same as it is on the right: the war is a topic you can only talk about within very narrow parameters lest you be cancelled and expelled from the tribe. Israel has become a culture war football more broadly.

When USA is backing and FUNDING a genocide, yes students have the right to protest! Who said Palestinians were the only oppressed people? His discriminatory and tribal/ Israel bias on full display. The other Arab countries do not have responsibility for Palestinians, nor do Palestinians want that. They want freedom and human rights on their own land!

Summers has a point. If you talk about only Palestinian rights, and never say a word about other oppressed people, then you are not for human rights; you do not see humans; you see Palestinian and Palestinian only. That is your choice, but do not use the "human rights" umbrella in your arguments.

If they claim they do, then yes. Also, it seems like Israel is the only thing the left is protesting against, what about the oppressed Muslims in China? What about the oppressed Muslims in Syria? Ukraine (oh sorry, these idiots actually want to give it to Putin). The reason why is because Israel connects for them to the evil whites thing, if oy they'd known most Israelis aren't even Ashkenazi
