@@ancientegyptandthebible If one wanted to reconstruct the religion/ spiritual practices of the ancient Egyptians (creating talismans, protection amulets, using herbs, prayer, incantations, ect..) what manuscripts, sarcophagus text or writings would help? Most point to the Greek Magical Papyri' (PGM), but are there older sources without Greek & Christian influences? Thanks, I really enjoyed your interview with Ctruth!

Would you consider interviewing Dr Judd Burton concerning Gobekle Tepe and possible Egyptian or Levant archeology?
@ancientegyptandthebible2 жыл бұрын
Probably not. We don't do interviews on our channel. But I very much appreciate the suggestion.

Dr. Falk, could you put this video in your playlist on the Spirit World? I think this video is very important there as you talk about very closely related topics.

What is your interpretation of Deuteronomy 4:19 which talks about God having given the nations to the Stars? Is it atrotheology?
@temporaryaccount53072 жыл бұрын
Chp 4 is about idolatry- men worshipping the creation, such as moon, sun, stars, etc. 4:19 says the stars are fixed everywhere for all men in all parts of the world to acknowledge the Creator.

Hello. Great video! I was having doubts about an ancient Egyptian papyrus. I heard about papyrus leiden 348 but can’t find information of it in the web. I was wondering if you could make a small video about it. Thanks!

Is the Min-symbol connected to Min, the fertility god who always portrayed with a stiffy?
@ancientegyptandthebible2 жыл бұрын
While the mn-symbol and the mnw-god sound similar, they are not directly related. Typically a different glyph (Gardiner Sign R22) is use to spell Mnw.

Is there a similar idea behind the design of Japanese jinjas? Those places, even when they're up the side of the hill in the middle of the countryside, do give off a unique feeling (though, regrettably, it's not feeling 20 degrees cooler).

Yes, it is the same principle.

Do you think the garden of eden could've been considered a sacred space in a sense, and if so how?
@ancientegyptandthebible2 жыл бұрын
Eden was definitely sacred space. It was where God met with mankind. And as soon as man sinned, the space was defiled, man had to be driven out, and cherubim had to guard Eden to define and defend the sacred space from the profane world.

It seems these gods were so weak and fragile always needing humans to build them a place to live.
@ancientegyptandthebible2 жыл бұрын
They was fickle, easy to offend, and vindictive.
@toomanymarys73552 жыл бұрын
You could actually basically trap gods in many pagan systems like a gene in a bottle. They needed the temples to rest, but they were also basically caught in the idol and could be manipulated with the right ritual.

That is why no one could have just dreamed up YHVH or Jesus. They have standards more elevated than any of us could make up.
