Very unique and interesting experiences that will never be encountered by many others. I don't know why ppl currently refer to themselves as "African Americans" however seeming that the info is available relating to how we are indeed indegneous to both the Americas and Africa. I don't have to announce the African portion if the Africa has given birth to the world as well as its Aboriginal population. I personally just go by Melanated, Spiritual American and nothing else. I only evolved to call the American portion post educating myself of the fact that a good majority of ADOS today were indeed products of Africans that were long, already here. Within a Capitalist society dominated and forever more beneficial to whites, they prefer us to refer to ourselves as "Black," African American and anything else that isn't factual to uphold subdivisions where we're always isolated and last in comparisons to others.

@@brandonbass1717 african American was coined by Zbigniew Brzezinski, a war criminal, who pushed Jesse Jackson to start calling themselves African American rather than black. Since black was coined by a black man, and black had created solidarity internationally. Thus, it is counter productive to the system.
@brandonbass1717
@brandonbass1717 2 жыл бұрын
@@JP-hj1il I'm aware of Jesse's usage and of the reasoning but the term was actually cited as being referenced as far as 1782(credited to an anonymous "African American," pushing the origins of the term back to the earliest days of independence). Its author - listed on the title page as “an African American” - is anonymous, identified only as “not having the benefit of a liberal education.” To be African is more than to share there ethnicity. They have an entire actual culture/history that is not to be conflicted with westernized deprogarming and lies. While many modern ADOS are finding that their families were long here, we still Wil never have the cultural/traditional ties that would allow for us to be African culturally(keep in mind that the continent consists of numerous tribes that don't all worship and have the same cultural norms). Anyone calling themselves an African American is as senseless as someone referring to themselves as a ADOS Christian. My American born ancestors didn't have to label themselves as such just as modern Africans would never refer to themselves as "Black" or otherwise.

Melanesian here from East Indonesia (Black Indigenous to the region - neighbors to our brothers the negritos and the papuas). I immediately clicked this video, and hope it is going to respect our Melanesian peoples ethnicity. Thanks - our culture predates the ice age and we are the pribumi/orang asli/aeta (First of the Land/Original People) of SE Asia. We have built the pyramids and the megaliths of Gunung Padang, Nan Madol and more before the younger Dryas flooded our continent and turned the land into the island archipelago it is today. Yet our people have survived and remain there to this day. Not only that, our languages and cultures still remain as well, eventhough purposely suppressed and hidden by the new governments that have taken control of of our forests and lands.. Our peoples have invented the original Catamaran technology that would be used to conquer the great oceans from the Indian Ocean to the Great Pacific. Our outrigger canoe designs are even used today extensively from Island SE Asia all the way to East Africa Swahilli coast as the go to ship for fishermen. Which hints to our ancient world trade route, which lasted for thousands of years before European enlightenment. We have been connected for thousands of years before Europeans hijacked those World Trade Routes such as our Indian Ocean Trade Route to which island Madagascar is still a remnant. And the connection of loanwords in Swahilli and Indonesian (Kaka = Older brother). I can go on for hours but its a whole book on itself. If you want indepth sources on this topic I will be glad to help out, I have done an anthropology scholarship just to research my ethnic roots and cultural history. Big fan, will react after I watched the video. Amaone lealohi samasoru anaki Alifuru. Maluku

All that separates us in the diaspora is language. Babylon has done well in destroying communication. Even in slavery if they found many who spoke similar dialects they would send you hundreds of miles so that communication was lost to not only your people but to your spirituality. What is interesting is that all spirituality are similar for a reason regardless of the country we are in in the Diaspora. God is within us not away from us which is how people pray today

@@zuesmaya8167 yes and no, there are many different tribes that make up the broad group known as "Negritos". They are NOT all the same and share the same beliefs, and traditions. Some, to your point do have a closer ties to Indian and Asian, where other tribes more of the likes of pacific islands people. However, there are quite a few that DO still share or have close resemblances to African traditions. Like hair breading, basket weaving, hunter/gathering techniques that have been passed down for generations. Again, I come from a "Negrito" family from the Aeta tribe, and trust me, a lot if not most of their longest practiced traditions and customs are more African than Asian. Me and family make the connections we see on a daily bases ALL the time. My knowledge is not read from Google, but lived and learned.

I’m not sure why it’s so hard to understand that the negrito and other ancient black Asian peoples are the descendants of the first humans to migrate out of Africa. They also never “returned” so therefore are the most distantly related as other humans migrated out, migrated back etc. it’s not a complicated concept.

A literal translation of the word "negrito" which in standard Spanish translates to a "small black person" or a diminutive dark complexioned individual, but in modern present day Spanish vernacular it is used as a term of endearment amongst friends and family to refer to any dark complexioned person regardless of race or phenotype, people tend to overlook of the fact that brown exists in all races of humanity.

They are not African. Genetically they are closer to other Asians. The thing is, we live in a very racial time cuz we are still trying to overcome white supremacy, so in the context of this, there can be unity of melanated people everywhere - in other words, Negritos are a melanated race that can be under oppression by global white supremacy, so they are not African/Black African, but you can say they are Black Asian. Being melanated itself is just simply not equivalent with being African. That aside, genetically speaking, the truth is that the similarities between Negritos and Africans is only superficial. They happen to simply inhabit similar kinds of climates, so convergent adaptation is at play here. Phenotype itself after all is only a minority of our genetics, which is why overall genetically they are more similar to other Asiatic people.

Because of this they develop features to adapt to the enviroment, giving them similar features to an African. Genetically they are closer to the neighboring ethnicities. Finally, I found this narration of the places where the Black Asian tribal people live, but I wasn't sure exactly. Okay, in late 1990's or early 2000's, I caught a show in National Geographic channel without the captions while the party and I asked but the host of party didn't have a TV guide. Anyway, this tribe is VERY different. One of the "bishops or jokers" had spoken out with his/her native tribal language that one did not welcome everyone except a dark African that one had found. However, that documentary wouldn't be televised after I missed in the beginning TWO times (one party and other my home). Because I didn't know what the title is.

@notimpressed Okay, before that real documental show of NG channel wouldn't be televised that I watched with no captions (Sorry) except in the beginning twice, I have to say the long story. First, a male visitor from America, Australia or Europe wanted to greet the female leader sitting at the table and she did not answer him back... so far as many times. Later days, weeks or months, the same host brought the Asian woman to her VERY MUCH ALIKE. BUT the same leader spoke out with her language and gestures: (I think that she was saying,) "Get out, you woman with that skin... and not that your hair! And you, too, both are having the same hair." And the host asked by "hitting" the woman from East once what the leader saying. And she did not understand, but she knew some gestures and respected and left from the tribe. In the third time, the host brought the male American Indian "chief" who did not want to share with the tribal people that he DID say to the host. But he was told DO. So, the chief was shocked that he was welcomed by the leader. And she asked him to take the headcover off of his and he replied... everybody ran away from that chief's hair. AND he lost the challenge with the tribal chief and asked with the gestures, "Me leave?" And the tribal chief nodded. And the host asked what the Tchief said and AIChief honestly answered that AIC requested with the gestures that he must go. And the host was shocked that the gestures they COULD communicate. At last, the host brought the male African to the leader. And she looked his skin scaring her that made the host laughed. BUT after that, when the woman was looking from his arm to his head... she was still staring and saying GLADLY, "YOUR HAIR". And (I think) she said to her chief, "We found him liking us. Look at his skin and hair like yours." And she was still chatting and chatting to the African about her hair (almost like 5:53). However, the host "hit" him several times at the same time he asked what she said. The African didn't understand those words. "But how you African understand?" "Her gestures."

As an undergraduate in the ;70s, I discovered a National Geographic magazine article about *(Autonomous Evolution) that talked about how different ethnic groups spread throughout the planet Earth, far from generally designated origins. Till this day I NEVER found this article again (Hence my near obsession in collecting various National Geographic magazines in hope of finding this article again). I "DO" remember that different ethnic groups are NOT exclusive to one-single geographic location, and the the spread of the human genome was planet-wide, hence Melanesians in the middle of the Pacific Ocean far from Africa, Samoans (Fijians) having "kinky" hair like Africans, ...Dark-skin Polynesians/Tahitians, ...OR how Hawaiians are far from Polynesia yet "ETHNICALLY" identical. As AN ADDED NOTE; My, long-time, girlfriend in the Philippines was "NEGRITA"; her skin was as dark as mine. Tondo, in Manila, is full of these DARK-SKIN FILIPINOS. THE "HUMAN" RACE IS TOO DIVERSE TO BE EXCLUSIVELY ISOLATED TO ONE-SINGLE GEOGRAPHIC LOCATIONAL ORIGIN!

I don't believe in the "out of Africa" theory but "out of all tropical zones from Africa to Australia" when the geographic/climatic conditions were completely different from today. Possibly a much lower sea level, other land masses or long lost land connections etc. The "neogroid" or dark skinned peoples/tribes in South Asia/Polynesia etc. cannot all have immigrated from East Africa. One could just as well claim that ancient Africans originally came from South Asia/Southeast Asia or Australia. The only species of monkey that can walk upright and run bipedally for long distances are the Asiatic gibbons - and they look far more attractive than chimpanzees or gorillas! Are there elephants, rhinos or phytons, crocodiles and many other tropical animals only in Africa? Of course not, so why should the first humans only come from Africa alone? Our (tropical) early "proto-human" ancestors are much, much older than any human fossils found so far in Africa or anywhere else. They may have spread extremely early in all tropical/subtropical areas that existed at that ancient time, from Africa to India, Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Indonesia/Phillipines, Polynesia and Australia etc.

Technically everyone is from the same place on the equator. Time hand changes in the atmosphere caused people plants and other animals to adapt to the new environment.
