Small soft plastics are all I use for all fish species. My thing is making 'hybrid' lures - parts of various soft plastics melted together to produce unique shapes and action - like in the video. Fish don't strike to eat lures, but a lure's action triggers aggression from aquatic bullies. The lures in the video have great actions = perfect strike triggers. The presentations enhance those actions. If I didn't already own half a million lures, I would buy some.

I now have a good collection of the Zman Micro Finesse baits. And both styles of jigheads as well. I just got some Micro GoatZ today. Ive already caught some huge fish on the Shad Fryz. I decided to get the Micro GoatZ to try to pull bigger fish from cover during on high pressured times.

Love ultralights for smallies, it makes the fight way more fun aswell. I almost always finesse fish because as a bank fisherman all of my spots are heavily pressured and see lures 24/7
