This might be a daft question but mine has come to the end of its life and will need replaced. However, is there an off switch or anyway to stop it chirping every minute? Otherwise it will be in the bin chirping away...

You can push and hold in the button for a few seconds, but this will only silence it for 24hrs

If you slide the back cover off sideways, by inserting a small screwdriver in the hole on the side, it stops beeping 👍

The only way I could stop mine beeping and causing my dog stress was to take it to the recycling centre. Put it in my garden overnight and my dog could still hear it. Surely you can turn them off?

See user Manual. The new version has different Number of chirps wrt the One in the video. It should be wireless module fault. Remove the module.

What you do is check if there is a fault. If theres not then you must get it replaced or look inside of it. (sorry for the late reply)

No you'll need to replace the alarm when the battery has reached. it's end on life.

To test you simply press the button on the front of the alarm. I hope this helps.

Hi Kee. The alarm is only replaced when the sensor reaches the end of its life after 7 or 10 years depending on which alarm it is.
