This might not be 100% in terms of key/scale charts, but it's the easiest way for me to navigate through this intro. I've been reading that most people are seeing this chord progression as in G major. Which make sense since the F chord is borrowed from G mixolydian. But I figured that very late into editing and it was lot of work to change all of the scale charts. Let me know if you find this useful and want more videos like this :)

I'm a massive Hendrix fan , been listening to him for over 35 years and I've been playing guitar on and off just as long , but I've always wondered how much theory Jimi actually knew or was he just playing what he knew was going to sound amazing?

Quick comment. I think the other format with the tab is easier to follow and therefore easier to learn from. This way is visually difficult with the overlay. Just my 2… love all your videos as usual

There is a short solo done by Eric Clapton of about 45 seconds, before Layla, at the 1985 Live Aid. That solo is so beautiful, and iconically Clapton-esque that I am quite intrigued to learn it. Whats a natural scale? With diatonic notes or what?

When the scale is minor, you have natural, harmonic and melodic minor. All of them have different intervals. Google this to see how they are formed

@@totolaunione3939 Most solos in minor keys are natural minor, or pentatonic minor, which is a smaller version of natural minor.
