I like the way you teach!! A lot!! It is my learning style. Also this is my first video of yours that I've watched. My husband and I are living in Mexico and learning Mexican Spanish so I was wondering if you indicate differences in Mexican Spanish and Spain Spanish. I noticed you mentioned it regarding vosotros but I know there are many differences. Anyway thank you! I'm glad I found you. We will start learning form your videos.
@gerlautamr.656 Жыл бұрын
Hi, I'm Mexican, and yes, there are diffrences, but apart from the obvious pronunciation of the letters "c" and "z", I would say most of the differences arise from the fact that we use different words to call certain things, which doesn't mean that Mexicans and Spaniards don't understand each other.The same applies to the rest of the Spanish speaking countries.Comparing Spanish from Spain with Spanish from Mexico is like comparing British English with American English.

I realized a very interesting point during this lesson. I've been having hard time with placing the indirect object pronoun before the verb. I find it silly since the lesson you taught us. I realized now that in my mother language, Turkish, it is also done this way. I was having hard time because I've learned Spanish from English (from you, more precisely), not from Turkish. Ridiculously funny. Thank you for the lesson!

Yeah, I also learned Spanish from English and I had troubles with the word order a lot, but then I also realized that the syntax is really similar to my native tongue - Czech, it is a whole new perspective!

Respected sir, I am Ravishankar, hailing from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, I would like to communicate my writings and feelings in Spanish to my friends, however I could not to do so, due to lack of communication skill, the reason is that I do not have persons to converse and understand the language, though i have been continuously watching your tutorial session. i have been learning your classes on Spanish since 6 months, i could understand and not able to talk due non availability of speaking exercise during your teaching session, I therefore kindly request you to please have such classes to enable students like me will get conversation exercises in order to learn Spanish language faster than the expected time frame and oblige. I anticipate you will do the needful in the subject matter. And please suggest any person who could talk or communicate fluently in Spanish from any country and also who knows English too, who is able to manage both the languages.

Hi, when saying 'I told you' (past) you said 'te dije'. My question, would 'Yo te dije' - i.e. would the use of 'I' be right also?
@Jim27084 жыл бұрын
I am just learning as well. However, I feel quite sure you could say "Yo te dije" as well - especially if it helps you to learn. I believe that in practice, more often than not, the "Yo" would be dropped. The verb "dije" communicates that it's the "yo" pronoun, so saying yo would probably be redundant. Grammatically correct, but not necessary and probably not used with fluent speakers.
