I only know “as gard” as being used to agree with someone else and I’ve never heard “how” used in that way. That’s not to discredit what is being said here but being a Creole means the Vincentian speech varies depending on locality and education so even Vincentians will not know or use every word or phrase.

Smally is a Trini slang....most of the slangs are trini slangs that vincies brought back while living/working/visiting in Trinidad from the 1940s up to present day. most Caribbean slangs used by the islands are either Trini or Yardy...they are the most influential Caribbean countries.

@@listenup2882No one is talking about french dialect 🙄. The English slangs y'all use are mainly trini or yardy...I know for a fact that Lucians say 'Irie', 'Big Up', 'Mudacunt', 'Allyuh'....those are used by every English speaking Island and they are trini & yardy slangs.

SayS who? every islands may borrow a few words here and there but every one has theIr own unique dialect... so get over yourselves... you think we were dumb until you teach us how to talk? What were saying before the 1940s? "bunga bunga" and 👉 point! Then Jamaica and Trinidad taught us how to talk,,,! 😆 🤣 😂
