Hello there . ım using cadlink. When I press all black and colored t-shirts( print mode is for black garment max white ) , the color of whites and all other colors changes. turns blue. darkening. but when I print on a white t-shirt, there is no problem. I just bought my machine and have been using it for 2 days. I have never been able to print on a black t-shirt. Do you have any experience as to why? I think it's from paint. what do you think?

My guess is the color profile is off on the black garment print mode...try increasing your white ink amount in the "color adjust" without changing the profile.

My under base is not printing at all. My setting are pretty much like yours and nothing. I have 5 more days on my trial and I am trying to figure this out before I pull the trigger. Any thing different between the trial and full version

it's hard to tell without seeing a photo but there is a really good chance you have banding. How do you align the white properly, my white keeps poking out at the bottom only

sounds like your white and cmyk head need to be aligned properly. If you are printing on a single head machine your film feed adjustment may be off.

So I have a picture that I’m printing and it’s semi transparent. Would I need to have that box checked in order for it to look transparent ?

You can't really do semi-transparent as there always has to be some white behind the image so the adhesive powder will stick to it. The technique used most often for fades to transparency is halftone but it is definitely not the same thing as semi transparent.

some RIP softwares like Digital Factory 11 will automatically create the white layer. Others you have to create a white layer in photoshop or illustrator but it depends on the RIP Software exactly how you do that.

Check your brightness setting in the "Color Adjust"

You need some white under the black for the adhesive powder to stick to, otherwise the black may not stick to the garment and will surely not be durable over time.

@@DTFSuperstore Nope been printing for 3 years now don't have white under black picks up powder and adheres perfectly. Using a first gen Audley 24 inch printer. Also prints faster than most of these new printers in uni directional printing 6 pass

@@nathanmoreau1063 how does that work though? if you do the sublimation dtf hack without white on dark garments, the print doesnt come out good because the garmet can be seen through the image. If you add white, the image is not so transparent. Can you give more insight?

@@nathanmoreau1063I was comparing it to having no underbase. Thats why we convert our printers to dtf or have a dtf printer. To get the white underbase. Do you have any videos of printing with no underbase on a dark colored shirt? - I'd like to see the outcome.
