I'm a huge fan of this fragrance and find it surprising when I hear that others don't resonate with it.
The perfumer Julien Rasquinet was aiming to capture the “sun setting on the fjords of Musandam” and the contrast between the fresh, greenery and the sun warmed rocks. ​ ​For me this perfume is a perfect example of an amazing unisex fragrance and is one of my favourites. ​

Interesting that you gave its sillage a light-moderate; on my skin, it's the most projecting scent I have ever worn. It's INSANE. 3m? Easily done. This thing is an absolute beast in my books.

Absolutely. Applied it early in the morning, say 5:45 AM, and a co-worker complimented me on it from her cubicle about 8 ft away at 1 PM. Insane longevity and strength

Absolutely love this . Just got my second sample and even though it's cold here in the UK,it takes me back to summer when I first smelled it. It's very deep, and changes so much on my skin. I'm sure people won't like it, but I don't care I have explorer for compliments! 😉

Enclave's sillage is much greater than Meander's. Enclave is my favorite Amouage, followed by Interlude Black Iris.

I like this scent and it does smell like a fresher version of Enigma parfume cologne with more brightness and mint. I agree with Filip, if i had a small collection id buy a bottle but at 80+ i wouldnt get it as it doesnt blow me away. Nonetheless a great release from Amouage and id recommend sampling it as it could easily be a love for a lot of people

I was originally prejudiced against this one because I didn't like the idea of heavy mint with heavy amber. Boy was I wrong. It's like my Aventus for cool weather now. Many of my favorite spices with a refreshing mint, warm wonderful base notes, and the amber extreme better for winter than ambroxan. This was the biggest sleeper hit for me ever, having sampled it like 8 months ago and only buying a bottle now!

I have a sample of Enclave, gave it so far 3 tries and I cannot fall in love with it. It's a good fragrance, I really like it but something is missing, and that missing part is preventing me from buying a bottle. Maybe if I would have smaller collection I would buy it but now I go only for those that are either groundbreaking or has unique smell that I have nothing like. However I am very courius about Boundless and Material cause they seem's interesting. actually amouage is $340 in the u.s.and the extrait flankers are $480. btw i bought meander and enclave just for the beautiful bottles, not really knowing if i’d enjoy them on my skin or not 😂 (fortunately i do). i’m gonna pick up journey man next for the same reason and hope i like the scent as a bonus.

Hi Marcelo. Your review of Enclave just popped up on my feed. This is another one that I've recently been sampling. I have to say that I really enjoy the dry down - it actually surprised me with the warmer, woody notes. It's unlike anything I have in my collection and lasts a long time too. It's now been earmarked for a future purchase. I blind bought Boundless (based on the notes) a couple of weeks ago and love how it smells although I knew I would given that tobacco is a favourite note of mine.

@@TheNicheFragranceCollector I'll be purchasing Enclave at the end of the month. The plan was to order Xerjoff Renaissance at the same time but I gave in an ordered it a couple of hours ago. It was on offer for £149 for the 100mls so I couldn't help myself. I also have a sample of MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver on the way. I wore my samples of Journey Man and Ganymede yesterday and both are a pass for me. I much prefer Boundless to Journey Man and I don't like the metallic vibes of Ganymede. I'll give them both another go as Autumn approaches.

That’s an incredible price for Renaissance, I can understand why you didn’t wanna let that pass! I just finished doing a bit of a tour on all things MFK, and have found pure enjoyment out of the entire collection. For me Gentle fluidity silver is a glorious masculine fragrance… curious to hear what you think about it

@@TheNicheFragranceCollector So my package has now arrived with my sample of MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver. Needless to say it was opened immediately and sprayed on my wrist. A perfect day for it given we are having a few days of freakishly hot weather here in Northern Ireland with today being 29c. And now for my first impressions.....what can I say but I absolutely love it. I'm not great at describing fragrances but it has a cool, sparkling gin freshness about it. It not a big projector but is very refined and extremely classy. It's exactly the kind of scent that would freshen you up on a hot day. It will therefore be purchased at some point. Thanks for the recommendation Marcelo. Have you any thoughts on Killian? A UK website that I use regularly is now stocking their fragrances. I have always wanted Black Phantom so an order has been placed too. Niche perfumery is very dangerous territory!

Just got it. It was a blind buy as I found it for an amazing price. It is a heavy, oriental and long lasting perfume. It opens with that minty note similar to Le male but quickly converts into a spicy reach oriental fragrance. I don’t find it that unique. I think is very similar with Initio Side Effect. Perhaps I’ll have to give it a bit more time. I’m thinking to sell it and get meander instead. I’m not too kin for this oriental profile.

Its good, I like it. Amouge getting less edgy and more into direction of western mass appeal. Not mad at it, it still has a clear Amouage DNA. I just hope they will also continue to push and be daring and creative.

Interesting that you feel that Amouage are treading a safer path. I still find that they are staying true to their roots by using the "Amouade" accord (with the unique local notes of Frankincense, Myrrh and Rock Rose). Have you tried Material or Boundless? I find that these are quite unique and a wonderful play on the vanilla note. Great to hear from you @Domdon

I have a decant of enclave, boundless , jubilation xxv and interlude black iris. Of all 4 I like jubilation xxv best but seems reformulation has screw up its performance. People said its beast before. I do have full bottle of reflection, reflection 45, search and meander
