Before anything, I would like to say HAPPY 9TH ANNIVERSARY TO UNDERTALE!!! Seriously, to this day this game is the best I've ever played and it's helped shaped me as a person. This game may just be mostly remembered as memes now but it's still impactful to millions. Thank you, Toby and your team, for this masterpiece of a game.

This is my animation for Three Left, a fight (that I picture being in Hard Mode) between Asgore, Flowey, Sans and the Six Human Souls.
As soon as I heard the song I knew I had to animate this because I loved the song so much lol-
Plus Asgore is such an underrated character, so is Flowey, so that's why they're the main focus instead of Sans. And this animation is so unique so that's why I chose it to be my 9th Anniversary Special.

Genocide runs are, in essence, despite how they feel to play, are meant to be unsatisfying for the player. It couldn't be made more clear through how most of it is just a walking simulator, and your reward is (usually) a boss that dies instantly for each area. So having an endboss that just rips away all that power you have and ruins your mission just makes all the sense.

If there’s one thing that I REALLY like about this animation it’s the fact that sans takes out the FIGHT button (with him having arguably the hardest FIGHT) Asgore takes out your Mercy button because you don’t deserve any mercy and he’s not willing to give any and flowey takes out your items which I thought at first don’t make sense but he has the only battles that heal you mid fight, and he knows that the only way you can heal in this fight is through the souls which is on his side not ours. And last but not least the ACT button, which frisk puts away somewhere just waiting to be used until they need it but little did they know that the button would have no effect on any of them. Idk I found this super interesting

Clover most likely saw how Monsters were pushed into their limit, and really didn't want to take those 5 souls, but if it is what it takes for their freedom... TL;DR Clover did not fail their mission, but decided to change it.

Why don't if they just let them lived and return home safely? (Yes, fallen humans needs Monster SOUL to cross the Barrier. Or maybe not. I don't know.) Well, that means they're "okay" with them taking fallen humans SOULs to get what they want. But, it's not "okay" when Clover "took away" their SOULs for bringing Justice towards 5 fallen humans. Got it. And also, it's sucks for Clover to change his mission because in the end, all the 5 fallen humans that he wants to find were all dead. He's trying to bring True Justice for what monsterkind did to those 5 fallen humans. And, even if he DID decided to change his mind to bring Justice towards monsterkind instead, remember. He literally barely makes it out alive for almost every single route in UTY except Genocide Route (which I called it as True Justice Route for UTY).

I really like how each character’s actions make sense. Sans still being slightly jokey but making sure you will have a bad time. Asgore staying serious and saving his son from an attack. Flowey, I feel is slightly wrong when he actually shows compassion but his other moments more than make up for it. The souls basically saying you don’t deserve your powers and how you wronged monster kind. And Chara was spot on with instead of helping you, actually mentioning his rarely seen dialogue. It’s amazing how well you did the characters

If sans asgone and flowey with souls attacked you in actual undertale at the same time during genocide it would probably be impossible as we never see asgores real strength or what would happen if we fought photoshop flowey

It woudnt be probably impossible it would be an execution In the case the souls are used Asgore would take them himself and remember Photoshop flowey took control of the save file and when he wanted oneshotted frisk multiple times in a single second even if you do neutral at LV19 flowey still drags out the fight and treat them as a toy Asgore would NOT play around he would end everyones ( including frisk's) pain quick aka kill them in one attack with no chance to reload since he would get the save files

In my eyes the reason the other souls lost is because of Asgores actual ability, to destroy the buttons. Additionally likely most of them didn't even reach Asgore, but for those that did I believe that it'd end like undertale Yellow, endurance. Asgore destroyed their FIGHT button, so because they don't have magic to properly fight back in that scenario, they're defenseless.

@@ravenman4228 pretty sure Asgore can't literally just go no you don't fight Like sure he destroyed the mercy button but thats likely more a symbolic way to show he WON'T accept mercy ( also if he could just deny humans from attacking he would have won the war by killing one human and taking their soul ) Asgore likely won because besides the fact he canonically beat undyne without fighting back Aka he dodged so long undyne got tired of using spears and passed out or gave up ( and you know undyne and give up don't mix ) without ever getting hit Asgore also speeds up his attacks the longer the fight goes on for likely he started at his max speed against the humans And finally monsters get weaker the less they want to fight papyrus goes from 20 attack and defense to 3 attack and defense that 80 attack and defense Asgore/ Toriel are them wanting anything but to hurt you So the souls faced a far more durable and stronger Asgore with faster attacks and who dodges far better and for far longer than sans did Id say thats more than enough reason to give up on life after being burned countless times
