This is it. Forgotten Timelines Renewed.
In my personal opinion this is one of the best animations I have ever made.
Oh yeah, this is a birthday special for me too, the day this is premiered (February 13th) is my birthday, I'll be 15 when this is out lol
Ask any questions about this AU in the description, I'll try to answer all the questions!!
Basic Story:
After countless genocide runs, one time while Sans was visiting a friend in Hotlands, he found a strange, broken gadget. It was said to be able to reveal knowledge about timelines. The skeleton, being interested in timelines, swore to fix it, and later, he did. The moment he fixed it however, he fell into a deep coma, and saw images from previous timelines. At first, he couldn't understand the images. Then, he got a voice in his head telling him to go to his brother. He teleported there, and to his horror, witnessed Papyrus being slaughtered by a human. After, the human lunged at Sans, but he teleported away. Sans suddenly understood the images. They were depicting a previous genocide timeline. He was confused and shocked. He stood there for a moment, until he got another image in his head, depicting a grey home and a present box. He knew where it was and teleported to New Home. He found a heart-shaped pendant that increased defences to near invincibility. He knew it wouldn't affect him because he had only 1 defence, but he took it to protect the gadget, known as the 'time orb'. He finally decided to use the orb for its intended purpose and travel between timelines to see how other Sans-es handle their human. Throughout his travels, he learnt things and new battle techniques, like orange bones. Now, he was ready to stop the human with all that he had leant. And he will do it no matter what...
• no matter what.
Keep in mind that this ISNT CANON AT ALL.
It makes use of some theories in later phases (like Sans being a previous Royal Scientist and Sans and another character knowing each other).
The AU's story itself isn't too different from the original FT, but the battle is very different, not based on Last Breath like the legacy version, and it's original.
Also feel free to use my AU for whatever you want or react to it, but be sure to credit me and everyone else you used a sprite or music from. If you use this AU and don't credit I will be big sad

What was the point of wearing the heart locket if He still gets 999999 damage

its to protect the orb from damage. but, at the end he got caught off guard and was forced to dodge, leaving the orb out of range for the heart pendants protection, causing it to shatter. it doesn't help sans because his defense and his HP are 1.

Whatever he plans to do next, he deserves the dub. All these plans and sensible decisions that are in line with Sans' character, and address some of his only weaknesses, this truly makes it seem perfectly executed.

Dude this animations really good, Im curious to see how phase 2/3 are gonna go, I don't believe sans when to grillby's + the clock isn't entirely broken its chipped and theoretically should still work just not correctly + it paused so sans doesn't bleed out, just my thoughts and observations! Question too, what did you use to animate this masterpiece? and happy birthday!

@Igaemenkissing the one hp is not a headcanon, in the files, he has one hp as I've said, and he never gained love or trained so he can't have any more max hp than one. While yes Toby Fox made that intentional it is not a head canon. I really don't know how you get -1hp from as from that instantly kills anything that has the hp value (player dies, enemies possible crash when it happens)

@Igaemenkissing both papyrus and Toriel I ain't even talking bout mettaton NEO on this one, they both took WAY higher dmg than their actual hp (in nuetral), so it make sense that especially he has one defense he takes that much dmg (your lv + real knife also helps with the dmg)

You can also do the following When you put the red bar for damage from the right end of the bar put a purple bar and add in animation slide left and out animation slide right, this is an easy way to do it

Sans is dumb ngl, he could've dodged before rewinding because it feels like wasting

well theres no difference in dodging and rewinding in the regular battle, both have the same effect and bc of the time orb it won't tire sans out, but for the ending (and the sparing section) sans dodges bc he reacts quickly and is caught off guard but the attack, and sans can't rewind if he is too far from the orb (like at the end), but can still do an emergency time pause from that distance, which is why he got hit and paused his wound.

Only criticism I have is... Why is Muffet there? She isn't really all that important, at least not moreso than Napstablook or Mad Dummy. I'd argue she's as significant as the dogs, but even that's debatable. I get that she's a boss and a fan favorite, but it's odd to have her there among the other cast.
