Hey everyone! this is a 4 month old project that took me about 17 hours to finish. I couldn't have done this without the help of my friends (Sevenup), Luanna(LD), and Kalbur. They helped me with suggestions to make this better! Also I'm sure you can tell that I took a lot of advice from Kalbur with the video. But yeah I really hope you enjoy this because this was really frustrat- I mean fun to make! xD

To people who are all "Sans is nowhere near as good as asgore",I love them both! They're both tragic characters in their own ways. Asgore has sacrificed his soul for his people's survival and hope, even though all the people he loves are dead or have forgotten him. Sans forgot the world due to the futility of his actions, and only remembers it once it's all been lost. His fight is sad because it represents not knowing what you've had until it's gone, and the futile desperate attempt to cling onto it and get it back somehow, even though it is ultimately hopeless (in his situation at least). This fact is drove home in the way he stubbornly tries to keep fighting you even as he passes out with the sad, strained expression like he's trying his best to keep going (the stamina thing seems to be a skeleton thing, since papyrus had the same issue although not as pronounced). Essentially, on their deeper ends, these fights resonate in two different ways. Sans reminds people of what it feels like to forget to remember until it's too late. Asgore reminds people of what it feels like when your heart still remembers what everyone else has forgotten. Besides just being cool and having good songs, I feel this is why they connect so well.

I just found this today, and my god it's better than any other version of this song I've heard since well I heard the original. So freaking complicated harmonically (that's a good thing) and you definitely created the right atmosphere with the specific choices for instrumentation (it sounds godly or what a final boss fight should sound like). 2:55-3:13 This is absolutely, no denying, THE best interpretation and remixing of this particular part of this theme ever, and is why this is one my favorite remixes of this theme and why I keep coming back to this particular one. The way it slows down and reverbs with those back bass notes with the front melody of Determination is like a quintessential capture of time in the battle: a moment where you and Asgore both hesitate or the human dodges in slow motion to see the deep pain and sorrow on his face kept hidden in shadow...but there is no time to stop. Utterly fantastic part.

If I were making an undertale movie THIS is a track I would use for the Asgore fight, (okay it would be more of a chase). However I would change the plot slightly from the game. They "fight" (and by that I mean Asgore chases and attacks Frisk while they (Frisk) try to convince Asgore to stop, to no avail) until Asgore has frisk pinned. He raises his trident, but a fireball flies towards him from the left and hits him, exploding, making him fly across the room and injuring him. Enter Toriel and Dialogue plays out.

+Kamex, I just want to say that this is by far one of the best renditions of "Bergentruckung" I've ever heard. This song is seriously one of my favorite orchestrations I've heard in a while. It's so amazing! I personally have always thought about making up music for imaginary games and moments, which I personally have to force myself to remember--I can't write music. Songs just kind of comes to me on the spot, but it seems that you've got writing music down to a science! You seriously are an inspiration, and I think I should give writing music a go. Great job!
