You can actually fight muffet in genocide, and I mean the actual fight like in pacifist. All you have to do is hit a button that won't do anything (e.g. spare or check) and the fight will continue like normal, just don't actually spare her at the end, instead kill her

Once, I wanted to do a neutral run where I only killed Jerry, but then I realized how annoying it was to kill and ended up just going through another pacifist run, probably my fourth at the time. Then when doing a no mercy run, I felt totally vindicated in killing Jerry. Never did finish the run though. Couldn’t get past Undyne the Undying. So in a way, she saved the Underground the way she wanted to just because her battle was annoying since I couldn’t get the Temmie Armor
