well two battles got entered into at once, for it to mess with the code it has to be probs frame perfect and causing it to probs hit like the functid of Flowey + undyne's to get loaded and that could have hit the dating start funct (i do code but i haven't looked into Undertale's code that much so this is just a guess based on my gamedev + programming knowledge)
