The lack of checkpoints in itself is unfair and unfun unless the gaster phase is just 1.5 but please add checkpoints in the full game

Honestly, would probably already be immediately fairer if the soul didn't get greyscaled during the Gaster shaders, thus allowing you to be able to see where the red/blue soul is way faster. Looking at the video alone, the greyscaled soul is hard to easily see, 'cos it gets extremely dark once greyscaled.

23:23 Yep, was wondering when you would notice- the soul extractor takes from your max HP, and is why you had "extra HP" as you said during phase 1- at 6:38, during its initial use, it takes 20 max HP from you

The reason you get more than max HP at the start is because DT Extractor absorbs your *Determination* if you had like 1 lvl this fight wouldve been ended when he used the machine at start, and yeah he needs to take all of your love to take all of your determination.

the thing about undertale is that hp scales with the difficulty of the monsters you fight. and even on pacifist when your hp doesn't change, you have better armor too. so that's why this fight is so hard; you're taking an endgame boss and putting him square in the middle of the game, on top of the max hp going down, which all means the player just doesn't have enough hp to learn the attacks this rant turned out way longer than i expected

yes super correct. sans is hard if you dont know the attacks, but you have 92 HP but at the beginning of hotland, fighting sans with new and more challenging attacks you don't know, on top of having less hp than you would in both the og game by that point in the progression, and in the og fight? Yeah, that would be pretty damn challenging!

This game was always my favorite part of my childhood, even the fact that one of my freinds and loved the game, maybe he could be reading this WD Gaster23, I was such a fan of undertale, so much that I used to combine my fnaf arc into a mix of undertale and fnaf, really I always wish to have the game and speed run it because the original game is the only good one that is to me, I think others might agree with me while others would disagree, I just wish you all a good childhood if your still at youngness, remember to have fun before it hits, once your older you really can’t get much happier, whenever you feel sad remember that you have others with the same situation as you.
