But doesn't that make Toriel kind of a hypocrite though? The whole reason she decides to abandon the kingdom and seclude herself in the Ruins in the first place was to protect any humans who fell into the Underground right? Then why would she then tell Asgore to basically go up to the surface world, kill some humans, return with their souls, break the barrier with them, and start a war that would inevitably lead to the annihilation of the monster race? I would've liked it if someone called her out on that, but I find it kind of funny that no one ever does.
