Actually in canon, sans does NOT remember batshit, he only guesses by expressions and stuff the human told him. After all, he is still a character inside a videogame. Even flowey doesn't remember anything after a true reset. And sans is hard carried by kr too so not rlly that strong too lol

First of all, he mentions during his fight the existence of other timelines and how they stop and start, regardless of whether you’ve died yet for him to suspect a reset. In his judgment, there’s the Easter egg of resetting several times so Sans gives you his key, where he mentions his code in case he encounters a “time traveler” and even he says that he suspect something like that, Then there’s the photo in his garage that changes from a happy Sans picture to a text that says “don’t forget” when you reset. Just like that, there are plenty more hints implying that Sans KNOWS about the resets. If everyone believes something, at least investigate why
