This is genuinely the first video I've seen that gets Toriel's characterization right. She didn't hate Asgore because he killed humans though I'm sure she was against the idea, she just thinks he's a coward for not just taking the one soul needed to cross the barrier and instead making them wait so long for the 7 required souls to break the barrier.

Right, she has her flaws yes and maybe wanting him to do the one soul thing isn't a good idea from a Sertin point of view but she is meant to parallel Asgore as he thinks like a ruler and she thinks like a mother she could not bear the thought of another child ending up like hers and she may go overboard when talking to asgore in the game but that is because she has had centres to wallow in her own grief and self-loathing too were it got to the point she in her mind started to assign blame even where it wasn't needed.

I just binged your Undertale Reaction videos, and I have to talk about the designs. Asgore looks so good, I wish I knew how to make Gacha characters with that kind of build. 10/10 Toriel looks great as well, I need to know how you did the ears. 10/10 Undyne is amazing. Using horns upside down as teeth is genius, and also something I utilize in designs that need mouth pincers, like bugs, and big teeth, like walrus. 10/10 Alphys actually looks hunched over. GL2 truly does solve the problems of GC. 10/10 PAPYRUS IS THE GREATEST! I LOVE HOW YOU DO HIS FACE! MY ONE MINOR NITPICK IS THAT HIS SPINE SHOULD BE BLACK. I DON'T KNOW WHY, BUT THAT'S WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE IN GAME IF I RECALL CORRECTLY. HOWEVER, THAT 0.1 POINT REDUCTION MAKES THE SCORE COME DOWN TO A 11.9/10 sans truly is proof that gacha has progressed. back in the days of club, or heavens forbid, the og life, you couldn't make sans look good without hair. but your sans is the best bald sans i've ever seen! and it's a lot better than the sanses wearing wigs. keep up the good work, you got me on the tibia chair! 10/10 Chara I can't see very well because of the transparency. ??/10 Frisk is great as well, but I do feel the need to point out that it is an aged up version. I have no problem with this, but I know others do it very much reminds me of those Undertale Frans comics where Frisk is living with the skelebros. 10/10

I don’t think papyrus should have a black spine, he has a white skull. It’s more likely that it’s just his battle body suit

Thanks for the rather long list of compliments! Lol With regard to the Papyrus thing, his sprite has black arms and spine in the overworld yes, however it is somewhat hard to tell if that was a planned thing or just a limitation of the spriting, as if I recall his fight appearance *does* have white bones. You could however also argue that this too is a limitation, as him having black bones with a black background would kind of leave his arms and torso to just not be visible. I mostly went with white bones because I felt black didn't look as good.

Awesome video snd incredible reaction, I know sometime I say smash to frisk and chara sometimes, but I do reslly mean this video was awesome, especially thst it focused on asgore my favorite undertale character, he is too underrated and people forget the important part he plays and his backstory so really awesome work, I have suggestion about two video you can choice either of them about asgore and it is awesome lyrics abd I think it will fit in the story you making of this au of yours, I cannot tell the name of the video because it is basically asgore lyrics, but I can tell the two channel of those two video they are alice flare and meltberry, those are just suggestions anyway awesome video and keep the incredible job and we support you. 👊😎😁👍

Thanks for the comment! When it comes to Asgore I always wanted to make at least one video focusing on him overall, and given I neglected doing so in the neutral run in favor of focusing more on Flowey, I felt like an in-between video before the Genocide Reaction fit well enough. I do not know if I will do more videos that strictly focus on Asgore, although if I do a deeper delve into the Dreemurrs for a video something more on him could work well. As mentioned previously, thanks for the positive comment! It's always encouraging to my motivation to make these videos when I get someone telling me I did a good job- I'd say it'll help me work on the next video, but the next video was already done, to be released in the middle of the month somewhere, but it is encouraging me to work on the Geno-route reaction I *am* currently planning out.

I sadly do not plan on taking requests, at least unless I specifically ask for them, both because for the most part I have a lot of my future videos planned already, and because a lot of the time they are just rather random things that wouldn't fit in the current path my reactions are going. In this case, I likely won't ever really do a story of Undertale reaction, because it doesn't really feel like it would be easy for me, nor particularly fun for viewers.

I don't plan on doing that video, at least for the near future, both because I never particularly found the reactions to it to be too entertaining myself, and because doing something deltarune related is a few steps past where I currently am in my planned reactions, what with me having not even gotten fully through Undertale related stuff. It's a new series on KZbin where, after the pacifist ending, Alphys and Frisk bring the last Amalgamate (Kanako) home. It's a good series but there are currently only 2/3 episodes. Still it could be something interesting to make them react to

I did try to make everyone mostly fit their canonical attitude. Except for Ness, had to go and replace him with Sans's personality sadly. And turn him into a skeleton. On a more serious note, thanks for the compliment!

Incredible reaction as usual! It's... Unfortunately rather rare to see a reaction focused on Asgore, or in general Monsters other than the Skeletons or Flowey.

True, albeit to be fair to creators, Asgore himself does have the fact he in game appears rather briefly all things considered. As such the most interesting part about him is usually his family, of which Flowey and Chara are usually more focused on for obvious plot related reasons. But yeah, he should have a bit more than he does in the reaction scene, he is an interesting character after all.

@@karmagacha6315 Oh, it was absolutely no critique towards other creators over it, I know full well there’s a lot less, well, stuff for Asgore. It’s still sad though, he’s a fascinating character to consider. Though speaking of characters lacking reactions, I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen one focused on Alphys specifically… Gonna have to go look for that now, actually. She’s really an interesting one too.

There are only two characters in the reaction room who can see Chara.

@boredgamerlife The reason they are physically visible to anyone at all, Frisk included, is due to the control they gained through the genocide route and getting a soul. As Chara in world takes on the role of 'the feeling when you gain stats' according to the Genocide dialogue, Sans is capable of seeing them in the same mechanism through which he can seemingly understand and read out your LV before combat even starts. Frisk can see them due to the aforementioned Genocide route. Flowey could also theoretically see them, If Chara purposely tried to let him, although that would only work due to his DT. Same thing with, say, the Amalgamates. I'm tempted to let Napstablook be able to see them, but that's iffier, and more just because it would be funny if the ghost could see the actual ghost.

@boredgamerlife He can see them, that's just the mechanic he uses to do so. Realistically, he should just be seeing that something is taking up space with LV, but both because it just works smoother for him to see them normally story wise and because Chara's own nature is kind of weird, I made it more a full ability to see/hear them. The timeline of how my undertale went is mostly set, though with regard to Chara's appearance to Sans, I am still iffy if they would always appear fully visible and audible, or if for the beginning portion of any route, Sans would find it difficult to figure out what exactly he's looking at and Chara would look less clear to him. Afterall, he doesn't recall resets.

​@@conductedbowl763 To be honest, yes, she is a coward for turning her back on her kingdom, including in the neutral ones where she lives xd, y'know what i mean. I mean, I understand that she is hurt by the death of her two children, but if we say that 100 years passed from the fall of Chara to the arrival of Frisk (201X - 211X), well... I think she went a little too far over time of her "hate", sometimes I think that she has resentment and insecurities in herself that she projects on poor Asgore who at least, yes, he is not good either, but technically Toriel is worse person (or monster?) having been selfish, I mean, yeah she tried to save the children, but let's not deny that she did it in part to fill the gap that Asriel left her, not to mention what she does when the human turn seeks to leave, that... god xd... there are more peaceful ways to make one remain isolated in a place "against their will" without resorting to burning it, etc, etc. In itself, I don't hate her, but she gives me a slight annoyance for being very arrogant, both in UT and DR, she is not that "loving and perfect" mother that they made her see in 2016, and it is no longer fun to see her reject to Asgore, now it's sad xdd. And well, both of them have done very bad things, but at least Asgore stands in front of you and tells you that, yes, he screwed up. Toriel is more about justifying herself without giving herself self-criticism because for her Asgore is the devil for killing 6 children that he did have real reasons for it more than to fill a void
