ThanksYouEel you’ve clearly never played undertale... You don’t have the option to kill flower when u first meet him, only dodge or get attacked until toriel comes and saves you. You don’t fight him again till the end. Even if this was an idea, it would only work for neutral and pacifist. Genocide run can still happen with or without flowery, u can still kill everyone and chara would still exhist.

The humans didn't just DECIDE to drive the monsters into the underground. It was because they were afraid the power that a monster WOULD gain if they were to absorb a human soul, which would be pretty easy for them to do as human souls can persist after death.

Frisk and chara's faces look very similar. I spot the difference by looking at their shirts. In kindergarten i was told to not spot the difference between others by looking at their shirts cuz they will wear other clothes and i will not know them... In undertale the kindergarten is wrong.

If I'm honest, I never understood why Undertale got the attention it did, I watched Jacksepticeye play it and whilst it seemed good, it didn't seem like it was good enough to be considered 'game of the year' I heard the story was amazing, I came to this video, and I gotta say, it's probably in my Top 10 favourite games of all time, alongside Super Paper Mario, L.O.Z Majora's Mask, and Mario & Luigi Bowsers Inside Story. The only thing that still confuses me the most is at the end of the genocide run, Chara and most of the other in-game characters say that frisk is still chara. like for example if you name your human "bob" at the end of the genocide run chara will say she is "bob"or even asriel at the end of pacifist. if anyone clear this up for me that would awesome! I'm not sure what you are asking, or if it has been answered in these five years, but when you are naming the fallen child, you are naming chara. The character you play as is frisk, and the character you named is chara. We only know that the real name is chara because the game says "The true name" when you type that in. Hope this clears that up.

Compared to Darth Nihilus, Chara is just a little edgy brat. Sometimes, when Darth Nihilus spoke, you could *hear the moaning and screaming of all the people he had devoured.* He literally devoured entire planets-full of humans through the force. That was one of the most morbid things I've ever heard in a video game.
