I am a regular user of the BRT, using it every three days per week. I mean it is regularly crowded during rush hours but I don't mind. At least I don't mind walking as well.

I saw myself of 2015! HAHAHA I love your videos, good case studies of BRT. Sunway BRT still got a lot room of improvements, being a premium township unfortunately public transit accessibility and walkability still are being restricted by influences of car centric roads. I would love to use public transit to Sunway City but my house is very close proximity to it so driving is definitely convenient (15mins driving vs 1hr public transit). Malaysia really need more dedicated full time bus lanes, in order to increase the efficiency of bus services around the city so people will take public transit rather than driving. (Ampang Rd. currently in trials of bus lanes during rush hour)

personally i dont really like the elevated brt design. like it would look more beautiful had the bus service just operate on the ground. but still im thankful that we even have a brt line. honestly cant wait for them to start the construction for johor brt
@lq9734 Жыл бұрын
The elevated design allows the BRT to bypass traffic i.e. a highway or LRT. To be on on the ground would add a fair amount of chaos to existing traffic, thus negating the point of constructing such infrastructure.

@@lq9734 in my opinion, if the brt lane goes through the traffic, it would attract people's attention and makes them want to ride it after seeing it driving through the traffic. for elevated brt, people would just see it as 'just another highway' and wouldn't even notice it even exist

They need more route Take examples BRT Jakarta (Transjakarta) More than 250km in length interconnected with another transportation like MRT, LRT & KRL Also have Mikrotrans can reaches kampung

SPAD had a plans for 11 brt lines but only sunway line operational today. ..they shelved the project that cost only US$16B for the whole but bcuz they saw the lowered ridership at sunway line(pilot) ..
