The soft, twinkly beat and violin represent the soft, kind part of dream- where as the guitar/base strumming and tough undertones show how tough he really can be- and that Dream isn’t just an innocent child, but a protector of positivity and the guardian of those who genuinely need him. Not to mention! The somewhat sad tone the violin has is to represent how he mourns for his brother, and how much he misses the good him.

Oh dear, I hope that Dream and Nightmare won't suffer from all the drama that Joku has stirred up. It's such a shame! I really liked the two sanses and had alot of respect for Joku untill all the drama went down. I feel sick seeing how toxic she acted on Tumblr and how she went as far as to deactivate her whole tumblr. The bros don't deserve to get all caught up in that, I hope that no issues arise in them being used for Underverse or anything, I really still want to support the characters, aside from all of the things their creator did. I would hate to see Dream and Nightmare losing support and recognition because of Joku's tarnished name. They deserve so much better!

I did some research about dream and his brother, nightmare, and was pleasantly surprised. He is one of the better AUs. So basically, there is a tree that has golden and dark fruit growing from it. Dream sans protects the golden and nightmare protects the dark (btw, nightmare is good and isn't made of ink and darkness yet) nightmare sans was threatened and hurt because he protected the dark fruit and the dark fruit brings death to whoever eats the fruit. Dream tried to stop the threats, but soon people vowed to kill nightmare, so nightmare wanted to end it all, and ate the dark fruit. Instead of dying, dark, inky, goop engulfed him. Now he hated his brother. He was jealous of him and thought dream could have stopped the threats. So he left and sought to bring negative feelings and destroy what his brother worked hard for. Soon after the tree died and dream left in search of help, and found ink. If you read all of this comment, thank you, now you know how the au goes. If I missed anything, or you disagree, tell me so I can fix it.

A little late but ...let's add some details there, the tree was the center of the emotions of the multiverse, the Guardian of the Tree created dream and nightmare to protect the tree, one protected the positive feelings, the other, the negative feelings, everything was fine until people started blaming everything on the nightmare (insults, threats, and some even tried to attack him), nightmare was REALLY shaken by that, until, one day, he just wanted to play what you already mentioned, he would end him and the negative feelings together, but instead, the negative feelings controlled him, so he destroyed all the golden apples on the tree (The source of positive feelings) and consumed the black apples, with that, all beings from that "world" became completely empty, full of negativity, they tried to kill Nightmare, but they failed, Nightmare was much stronger, Dream however, had taken a golden apple to the city to help an injured person, he consumed the apple and became the center of all positive emotions in the multiverse, with that, people realized they were doing something wrong, but it was too late, nightmare destroyed them all, and he seeks the destruction of positive feelings now... I used Google Traslate, I don't know if it's all right, I'm not a Native American.

I think it works best for just laying down on the floor and feeling like (not insulting anything) trash, or deep thoughts. Came here from the ILL level Wistfully - the soundtrack wasn't used there to it's fullest potential, so hopefully there's no annoyance by me xd

yes he is, his clothes got too many holes lol. As you see in Underverse 0.6 but I know it's wasn't out when you commented this. But Cross even refuses to use other clothes and keep the old one even tho it's loses half of it XD. (And a small detail in X tale, Cross sick in that outfit lol)
