Does Aipom actually have a weird catch rate? I feel like I've really struggled catching them before, but I'm too lazy to look into it.

I think Infinite Fusion has a wonky catch rate in general. I'm very serious when I say that fiddling with the speed up toggle while battling or throwing the ball seems to help me.

Yes, Aipom has the same catch rate as Bulbasaur at 45. In comparison, Sunkern has a catch rate of 235

What happened?

@adamgarcia7308 there was a big update adding new pokemon, new storylines with team rocket, and customizing your clothes and adding hats on pokemon. However, no one focused on that and gave the creator death threats on Christmas because they made an AI-based algorithm to create the text pokedex entries that had not yet been written by a human. When people make a custom sprite, they don't always write a pokedex entry. There are hundreds of thousands of possibly fusions, but the pokedex text was either blank, or made a generated text using one sentence each from the Dex text from each individual Pokémon making the fusion. The creator made it explicitly clear that the AI-generated text was to ALWAYS be replaced by text made by a human, but there are literally thousands to make, and no one is being paid for their time to do it. A lot of people just heard "AI" and flipped the fuck out, even though they don't actually understand how any of it works. Some artists wanted their sprites removed, even though art or anything important was never once implied to be in danger. There are mods(like Kuray) that give a OPTIONAL way to use AI to make custom sprites, but that is not official in any way. We were given a generous Christmas update, and they got death threats over a fan-made pokemon game.
