When you have the one-way glass selected, there's a second tab on the right-hand side of the barrier menu. From there you can select to make the glass right to left, or left to right so you can have the opaqueness on the correct side. You can also select to make certain fences unclimbable from there. Clicking on the fence of your habitat will bring up the exhibit stats where you can see all the animals in an enclosure so you don't have to go hunt for them :)

Hey Beaver not sure if anyone has already suggested this but for the 1-way glass fence, there is an option to switch the affected side when you edit the fence, under the settings tab (1-Way Glass Side: Left-to-Right or Right-to-Left icons).

To change the one-way glass to the opposite direction click on the barrier, then click on the gear button to go to settings and then there are two icons. These allow you to change the direction from left to right and from right to left. You can also change the curvature of your fencing here to create undulating barriers similar to waves or little hills. You can also do the same in the paths menu to remove railings and kerbs. Hope this helps! I'm loving the stacked staff facilities. Great idea.

For the one-way glass not working properly: after you've selected it and placed it click on the gear on the bottom right, there you should find " 1-way glass side" that let's you change where the opaque side of the glass is facing :D

For the boat tour idea how about something kind of like a trip through the jungle? Have a sort of rain forest setting around the river with all kinds of jungle animals along the river on either side, should be easy to hide the barriers of each enclosure.
