Underwater HUET Exercises

Underwater footage of some of the HUET exercises conducted at our Senipah facility to further train our instructors. For those of you who have not experienced this type of realistic training, this will give you an idea of what you can expect.

Fair enough.The technique taught to Australian Military is different, where we are taught to hold on to the seat during inverting (even in 4 and 6 point harnesses), then identify the egrees or reference points by sliding along familiar structures with the out board hand. Either way, it's semantics as long as you can get out eh! Best wishes. Ken

SamsonTiara is right. No hand should be on the seat. Should be whilst in the brace position, but as soon as you hit the water position should change so one hand on your exit one hand on your buckle. Buckle hand can move, exit hand doesnt.stop the rotation, push out the window with one hand, twist the harness with the other and your out in seconds. However, the only bad practice is that you will never fly on a chopper without wearing a transit suit and wearing a lap jacket - so they'd weigh more

just wanna ask,why some other HUET training videos, the candidates will be provided the life vest and inhaler when the training is conducted,is this different from BOSIET's HUET?
