A great hunt. The jumble of inter locking rings is a puzzle ring the goes together to form a wearable ring.

second ring is .333 gold(8ct)

I find a lot of 9ct gold and some of it is has been in the ocean 50-60 years estimating , and often it’s very brittle and can break super easily , often has a lot of green corrosion and hard sand mixed in the corrosion which is likely the copper leaching out of the metal making it brittle , but it often scans as much higher ct gold because of that 11ct-16ct even , so those rings you think are junk can very possibly be gold 😎

You're absolutely right!! I've also had a fair few of those turn up. The green stuff usually comes off when using CLR and I too have had it come up as higher purity, though very very brittle like you said :) It's strange and I often wonder what causes it. I've got 2 beaches close together - the one you see in this video and another around the corner. The one around the corner is way more rough and is very hard to detect and dive with waves often reaching 6ft or more, but I always find the green corroded 9ct rings there. This beach I don't think I've ever found one with the green stuff leeching out.

@@deepfinds so few spots here by me hey , I'm in South Africa , most gold is stuff lost decades ago , with I had your conditions lol in rough water I just snorkel with a pulse dive but I do have a nox 700 and blu3 nemo
