Hey Pete love your work, and love the channel. Just had an idea. I did the grid challenge last fall which really inspired me to think outside the box. I loved it actually! So I’ve been watching you edit our pictures, my idea was what if you took a shot that you have taken, make a new challenge where us the followers get access to the this said photo (raw of course) let us edit your photo then do your top 10 favorite edits from your fans. I’m not sure if you’ll get this or even read it but I figured it’s worth a shot. Thanks for the inspiration

Super cool you went into the water. Next step is in the water with waves. The images you will capture will blow your mind - wave vortex, barrels, wave windows. With the housing you also need moisture strips as any condensation will also set the water sensor off. Hope to see more water photography from you guys. Yew.

Hey chris and pete! You could also get the glass coated with glassparency. It's a product that creates a chemical reaction to repel water. Its absolutely insane. My husband is an automotive detailer and you can literally do anything with it. So instead of ear wax maybe just go find an installer and get your glass coated. Also you can even do sunglasses and loads of other items. Great video!

Nice Pete !!! Shooting in the water is what got me into photography ! A good tip for water spots is shoot flat ports dry and dome ports wet. Lick and dunk as well as eating a scoop of peanut butter before and the oils will help

Literally was looking for housings yesterday for my A7RIII. Perfect timing! Water & cameras is a bit nerve racking, but tired of the limited range of waterproof point and shoots (and iPhones are basically useless even though they are water resistant). Thanks for the knowledge and inspiration.

If you are into underwater macrophotography, the 4/3 or APSC is better than full frame, the depth of field is not too narrow.

That conversation at the end reminded me of Matti Haapoja's Video called: I Made this B-roll for Me. I completely understand how even though you are a photographer you might not be able to spend as much time taking photos because you have deadlines and have to make tutorials. However, you also show how work can be fun because you get days like this when you can work and have fun. So glad the weather was perfect for you guys. The photos shown in the video are stunning! Also, nice to see the return of the segment "What's in your pockets?" Only, I immediately think of Gollum, "Watz in its pocketzes, hm?"

Also clear candle wax on a flat port works great. I do a few stripes in a grid pattern, then polish it out with a microfiber rag

I shoot mostly film and if you want to try underwater photography on the cheap, buy an underwater disposable camera. They cost about €10 but you have to get the film developed and scanned afterwards.

Awesome, only underwater photos I've shot was with the good old disposables that had a housing lol. But I have a Go Pro Hero Session that I want to use more (the Hot Wheels rig can do some amazing things btw). Also plan to upgrade my XSi/450D (that I've had since 2008) to the EOS RP/R so having some extra toys to use with it would make some of my trips to the beaches on the East Coast and Gulf more interesting.

It’s so awesome you guys did two videos on underwater shooting. 👌 Being a scuba diver, I struggle to get good video clips and stills. Light is the biggest issue. Plus, I’m only using a GoPro Hero 4 Silver. I hope you can do more of these videos. Keep up the amazing work! 👌👌👌

The tips for earwax or saliva over lens is another money saver, so you don't have to buy some "sprays" that keeps getting sold to people who don't know. So thank you mr. P! Now I have got another underwater tip to own next time I'm underwater :P If anyone needs a tip, the saliva thing is also amazing for "anti-fogging" on your mask (inside and out). :)
