The vampire coven refered to Michael as Selene's 'lycan lover'. They didn't know he was a hybrid because everyone who has ever come into contact with him is dead by the end of the second movie. The only people who know he's a hybrid are Selene and the humans at Antigen. Selene herself isn't a normal vampire either at this point because she drank the blood of the original immortal in the second movie (Alexander Corvinus, the human father of Marcus, the original vampire, and William, the original werewolf). As a result Selene is a more superpowered version of the vampires and she doesn't have their weaknesses. Which then brings us to Eve, who is the daughter of hybrid Michael and Selene (who became her evolved/superpowered vampire form after Eve's conception, so I don't know what effect that had on the fetus). Selene already said in the second movie Michael's powers might be limitless, and Eve is just another level above that. As far as the vampire coven know, she's just the daughter of a vampire and a lycan, but she's much, much more.

Alexander Corvinus was a human that when he was mortal, there was a plague in his town, the plague killed everyone, but his body adapted to it and made him an Immortal (but no Vampire or Werewolf), he had 3 sons, William, Markus and another one, Markus and William were born immortal aswell, the other one wasn't, Markus was bitten by a Bat (his body reacted to it + the immortality strain and made him a Vampire), William was bitten by a wolf (His body reacted to it + the immortality and made him the first Werewolf, not able to go to human form , since he is not a Lycan, but a werewolf, like the ones he bit that also become a Werewolf, not lycans), so, in the first movie, Viktor kills a Lycan in the chambers, the blood awakens Markus (which was a vampire) and makes him a Hybrid (since he has the Corvinus Strain and was already a vampire), so, no, Alexander wouldn't have become a hybrid since he was never a Vampire or a Lycan or a Werewolf to begin with, he was simply an immortal man.

Eve isn’t a “hybrid” like Michael she is more of a tribrid. Selene after drinking Alexander’s blood became a vampire immortal hybrid.

There's no such thing as vampire immortal hybrid, Markus wasn't a vampire immortal hybrid (he had the immortality from his father before becoming a Vampire), he only turned into a hybrid when he was awakened by Lycan blood. So, no, Eve was never a tribrid, there is no such thing in the Underworld series, the only thing she has is the Corvinus Strain + Lycan and Vampire powers, so she is just a Hybrid (please take note that only people with the Corvinus Strain can become hybrids).

@@Z-KillerEditsDoes not make sense to be a tribrid if werewolf and vampire are just modified version of the Immortal gene, if they were to consider Immortal to be some kind of form like vampire or werewolf, all werewolves and vampires would be considered Hybrids because they are immortal aswell :)

@@enavihz it’s not like that, vampires and lycans all have the Corvinus strain in them but they are tainted by both diseases. Michael and Eve have the pure Corvinus strain with Michael still having it and since he was prevented from turning into a full lycan before becoming a hybrid that means his Corvinus strain is still pure, that’s why Marius was so powerful with Michael’s blood but couldn’t keep it permanent because of Michael’s vampire genes making Marius unstable and Eves blood would make it permanent. Selene also has the Pure Corvinus strain within her by drinking Alexander’s blood who is unlike the other two species vampires and lycans, his blood made Selene be able to fight on the same level as a Dominant hybrid. Eve on the other hand is lycan, vampire and pure immortal thanks to being born with both Selene with Alexander’s blood mixed in with it and Michael’s Pure Corvinus strain making Eve a tribrid, in a sense she’s like an original of the originals, she can’t really be killed even by those who are stronger than her but that’s yet to actually be seen. Also this explains why Selene can create other Powerful vampire but not as strong as her as they don’t have the pure Corvinus strain given by Alexander.

I definitely liked it. All of them continue the Underworld story. For some reason when others don’t care for a particular movie, I tend to like it. Lol. Actually, a lot of movies I like and then I hear how some didn’t like it, and then wonder why lol. Do your guys arms get tired from holding your mics thru the whole movie?

That's so scary! I hope you're managing it and it doesn't affect you too badly now a few years later 💐 I didn't have a fear of elevators until I watched They Will K*ll You's channel. The video focused only on elevator related accidents and I've had anxiety of getting onto them ever since.

Eve is a tribrid of Vampire, Lycan and True Immortal meaning she has virtually infinite potential for any one of the species who can get a hold of her. That`s why the Super Lycans and Antigen want her so bad!

I agree. I like it. Unfortunately, Marvel actually declined the offer to do a crossover because they wanted to keep the option open of doing something with Blade on their own. Personally, I think that’s pretty stupid. You can make one version of Blade that’s a crossover with Underworld and a completely different or retconned version that’s consistent with the MCU. I thought that was pretty much the whole point of a multiverse.

Michael wasn't a perfect hybrid because for one Selene was an ordinary vampire when she bit him. He's 1 part vampire and 1 part lycan which is why he shares lycan features more than his daughter. Eve although a hybrid is 1 part regular vampire, 1 part superior vampire (stronger than elders), and 1 part lycan which is why her lycan features aren't as clear as her fathers; when his face morphs. Being a natural hybrid vs being bitten I assume comes with the perk of being naturally adept with being a hybrid. If i had to make a correlation I'd say it's like in some tv shows, anime, and movies where natural born vampires are stronger and more powerful than a vampire that is merely bitten like the rank and file. If the series ever continued [It will not] Eve would eventually become more powerful than even Michael.

i think people realize the Michael part was not because of story but the director hated seeing his wife Kate kissing and having sex with Scott Speedman in the last film so he wrote him out of these movies

Good Post. I like this movie, just not as much as the first 3. I think it is because of the 12= years that have passed. Plus, the movie is more Modern than the others. It is weird though. The movies ARE the same, but from different views, I guess. The first 3, OLDER times. The 4th, NEWER times. But they all convey the same message. Do not mess with Selene. LOL. Love this series. I’d say a hybrid would be the better option, 1 your stronger than 100 vampires and werewolf’s and you don’t have to worry about destroying your clothes in a regular werewolf transformation. You can still eat regular food as long as you have a good enough amount of blood.
