There is the rowdier parts of our fanbases that go at eachother pretty hard. But I've always seen our rivalry as a *mostly friendly one. We aren't rivals because of division play, close proximity, a dirty incident, or any of the other reasons for historic rivalries. We are rivals for the best reason. Josh is one of the few QBs you can tell pays attention to EVERYTHING going on in the league just from listening to him. Other QBs probably pay attention too, but with Josh you can tell he's up to date on everything football. He's watching film on Caleb Williams (and knows their record), he's watching Aaron Rodgers & the Jets (they're in the division, so obviously), he's aware of the polls & what people are saying about him & the team, he's even out there scouting college players & calling Brandon Beane about picks. He's also just a compassionate guy who really gets to know other players. He's friends with everyone from Tua to Mahomes, even guys like Sam Darnold from his draft class. I just can't find anything I don't like about the guy.

If Allen was on the chiefs… he has a few SBs. All comes down to team and coaching. Some players get better draws. Not a knock at Mahomes at all. I genuinely think everything he does, Josh can do as well.

It's more than just the QB & always has been. The media likes to make it out like it's just QB vs QB out here, but there's 52 other guys on the team for a reason. That divisional round game wasn't just Mahomes vs Allen out on the field 1v1'ing each other. All those players that were injured really had a huge impact on the game, even from just a game-play perspective (the Bills were deliberately trying to eat clock from the get-go to keep the Chiefs offense off the field). And just like we saw on TNF, the defense getting after the QB & getting all those turnovers made it so Josh didn't have to do nearly as much as usual. Cook actually catching passes instead of dropping them has made him significantly more reliable.

One of the faces of the league! T.O. needs to hand over that key he was given when he came to Buffalo yrs ago to #17! Shady knows, if Allen went to the Chiefs he would most likely have a few rings instead of Patrick! But as a life long Bills fan, I wouldn't have it any other way! McDermott and Beane have set this franchise up for the long haul it appears! The Miller contract is an issue, but I was in agreement with the organization when they decided to go all in that season and get Von. I'll hate to see it all end, but everyone retires eventually. Just have to enjoy the greats while you have them on your team.

Mahomes is a generational talent though, and if the Bills were smart, they'd have taken him instead of trading the pick to KC. But either way, the Bills got an amazing QB. The biggest difference is Mahomes got stuck with Andy Reid (an offensive genius), and Allen got stuck with McDermott (a very good HC, but a defense-only guy).
