When Wilson was on the Seahawks, the Niners only won 1/5 games in his last 5 games with the Seahawks. After he left the Seahawks, the 49ers won 5/5 games vs the Seahawks. Wilson is a good qb. I suspect the problem was with Denver, not Wilson.

And let’s be honest that performance against the Niners isn’t a reflection that actually accurately makes the case it alludes to. We can’t pretend those Niners teams were the same teams to be an actual comparison. The loss was the Super Bowl team followed by two wins against the dropped off a cliff with Jimmy H hurt again that was 6-10. The team the next year are solid from a weak record team that got hot and was close to a Super Bowl with a 7-2 finish settle was one of the Ls. But we can’t pretend those teams were as good as the Niners of the past couple years. That doesn’t mean Russ isn’t good either but we also can’t pretend that comparison of performance to entirely different teams with wide gaps of talent reflects that’s it’s all a Russ thing.

It's CRAZY that the Steelers just picked up a perfectly healthy 35 year old 9-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champ, who has 26 TD's to 8 INT's last year and a solid 98 passer rating, for just 1.2 million dollars! Whose biggest negative is a corny personality. Who cares?!?! Russ is still a very solid starting QB. The Steelers were a 10-win playoff team last year with 3 low-level backups as their QB's! Now, Pittsburgh has a bunch of money to spend on non QB upgrades. EXCELLENT move by Pittsburgh. They're contenders now.

I'm a bronco fan. I hope it works out for Russ.. he really is a good guy. However, I watched every game of his these last 2 years. He can't anticipate throws, or check down receivers very well. He pulled out quite a few games in the 4th quarter because he HAD to, and he's good at backyard football. But for 3 quarters he pretty much could not get anything done. That's not a sustainable way to win most games. Seattle saw it, and to Denver's chagrin they finally saw it as well.
