I think melo can still play for 2 teams in particular. Charlotte needs to get someone who can score other than Kemba, and Memphis still successfully plays a slower melo style offense, he can take Z-Bo's old role getting post buckets and their Defense is good enough to hide him. And both teams will be on the cusp of the playoffs and if they don't make it, big deal, so why not see if melo can be that extra spark.

@amarelogan70815 жыл бұрын
With all do respect that will be a horrible move on the jazz part...they preach team defense and ball movement...and melo has never been good at either....and he isn't a consistent enough scorer compared to 3 years ago when he was in new York putting up 23ppg on 45%fg 37%3pt now he is a 40%fg shooter and a 30%3pt shooter and that won't work with a team who moves the ball .... Mitchell is the only ball stopper that team needs unless u are getting a bonafide consistent scorer Jimmy buckets would worked perfectly there because he could've been there closer when need and he is a great defender and he can always guard the best player because he wouldn't have to carry the offense because of Mitchell there and some of the snipers they have who works best off ball .... Andrew Cook I don’t think you get his point. Bron boy Broussard and Shannon along with the many LBJ stans always refer to that 94 season as if they won 55 gms with the exact same roster MJ had. All that is false, MJ left but the Bulls added Kukoc/Kerr/Longley etc to a team of Pippen/Grant/Paxson/BJ etc & Phil. They don’t mention how Pippen struggled vs NYK, how he had career lows without MJ in the playoffs. How Kukoc saved them from going down 0-3 with that game winner, how Phil had more faith and trust in Kukoc than he did Pippen. You saw how Shannon got when Skip brought that up, dude knows but is trying to stick with that lame narrative that MJ wasn’t THE man there. He never played with that exact 94 team, Pippen did and failed. Why don’t they mention how the next yr they went 34-31 and were slipping until MJ came back and they go 13-4 with the best record in that time span? Bc it doesn’t fit their narrative. Another thing is Bulls were 5-0 in the playoffs WITH MJ vs Knicks yet lose to them once he leaves, gee I wonder why this doesn’t get brought up as well...

Look, Chris Paul needs to have more criticism in his career. Look at Lebron, Look at Durant, and even Melo now. These guys had so many criticism and hatred in their career that them made them stronger and better. Chris Paul has under achieved so much in his career and was never really brought to light. Been in the league for 14 years and went to the conference finals ONCE. Rockets made the biggest mistake by giving this man a supermax. He is no Steph Curry. Heck even Durant took a cut.

Criss Brewsahrd BI don’t duck with anyways,he hates playing with LeBron and you can see it when they play together. So for all the people talking trading him he’s probably cool for with that because the lakers aren’t what they think they are for young players
@allenreynolds31365 жыл бұрын
@@LanceG007 Yeah you can see it on his face. He plays better when Lebron is off the court. There was a stat saying he's more efficient and shooting over 55% with Lebron off the court vs 43% with Lebron on the court. That's a huge difference.

More like Brandon Ingram should have been better than he is by now.... Was hopeful for him to actually elevate his game (since the lakers drafted him) to at least an all star level but he hasnt shown much. He keeps doing that disappearing act he does when hes on the court with lebron. I wouldnt be surprised if the lakers wind up trading Lonzo,KCP,Ingram and two first round picks, along with a 3rd team getting involved for Anthony Davis. Until then i dont see the lakers signing melo....

I, for one, believe that Melo would be a good fit for L.A. Right now, L.A.'s offense drops whenever Lebron takes a rest. I believe that Melo is highly capable of leading the 2nd unit offensively while Lebron takes a rest. Also, I believe Lebron would find motivation in

Melo will be a great fit because he will be playing with someone he's very comfortable with. He knows this will probably be his last chance so I think he will return back into the Syracuse Melo and LeBron will bring that out of him. Melo can still play, he just need that extra push because of his off the court distractions.

The Lakers have absolutely nothing to lose by signing Melo to a 1 yr minimum deal , just to see how it pans out. They just gave up almost 45 to the Spurs in the 4th quarter They need offensive firepower Also Melo now has something to prove, he could be an asset!!
