Lebrons weakness is he is so ball dominant that it stunts the growth of his teammates. They stand around while he dominates the ball that they never get into the flow of the game. No plays are ever ran. Then by the time they get the ball, they're cold.
@garrymcdonald80656 жыл бұрын
teehud313 So true. I wish people would realize this. LeBron does not make his teammates better. He runs HIS ball dominant system and gets to pad his stats. Every player he plays with must sacrifice a part of their game yo fit into his system. That is why Kyrie left. Unless you are a catch and shoot player like Kyle Coerver your numbers will decline... ie Rodney Hood is a baller but in Lebrons system he looks ordinary

@Jonathan226.6 жыл бұрын
Mike Smith ok so let me break down everything you said in regards to who LeBron had and who Jordan had. Let's start with Bosh. Bosh really wasn't that great of a player when up compare his stats on the Heat to the average PF in the league. Yes, he was an all star but it was mainly because while he was in Toronto he was the only scoring option. Bosh was literally Toronto's go to option for scoring which inflated his points. Once he came to Miami, his stats decreased which were a reflection of what his capabilities were when put on a team with other scoring options. Now Kyrie Irving. Kyrie is a great and talented player but he had one major flaw. Kyrie is injury prone. Look at this year's playoffs, where was Kyrie? Kyrie came in the league injured from duke and when the Cavs went to the playoffs with LeBron and Kyrie, Kyrie was out due to injuries. Now for Ray Allen. Allen was one of the best shooters in the league and definitely helped the Miami when he came for his final season in the NBA. Allen was old but could still shoot, but again the problem is he was literally playing his final NBA season, so in other words he wasn't coming back he was retiring. The Heat won a championship with him so he definitely played a role but what do you do when a player is retiring? Now for Wade. Dwade was a great SG a top tier in his early days, but by the time LeBron came, Wade was on your decline. Wade helped Miami but like Bosh he relied heavily on LeBron. Wades stats went down when LeBron came not because LeBron was a ball hog but because he wanted LeBron to take control. Bosh and Wade heavily relied on LeBron and it showed once LeBron left Miami. Look what happened when LeBron went back to Cleveland, Miami could only get to the first round or not even in the playoffs. Explain how two superstars couldn't take a team past the first round. That showed they took a back seat once LeBron came into the picture. Now Kevin Love. Kevin love was a great player when he played with the timberwolves, he had a shot and could rebound. Ever since he left the timberwolves and came to the Cavs, his capabilities declined. Love no longer had the same shooting capability or rebounding capability. Look how love plays when LeBron sits out, he can't do anything that shows his once famed superstardom. Love did a decent job this year in the playoffs but didn't really make a big enough difference to even call him a superstar. Love was once a top the point shooter, but look at his stats this year in the playoffs. Finally Jordan, Jordan had a team built around him and even if he worked with Scottie Pippen, Jordan still had a team built better then today's Cavs. It took Jordan 7 years to win his first title but once he had that team that could actually do their job, dynasty. GSW have an overstacked super team with top tier players, LeBron has never had that. The Heat were a false super team, as evident in my earlier comment about wade and Bosh. If LeBron played along side Westbrook, Kobe, Harden, Curry or even Anthony Davis, he'd have more rings. Give LeBron a team like Kobe, Jordan or heck even OKC when they had Harden, he'd be a beast. Basketball will always be a team sport no matter how good you are, but when you don't have a team you'll always come short.
@rodiceclay14726 жыл бұрын
Jonathan Raeford Lebron had Wade, Bosh, Ray Allen, a sharp shooter in Mike Miller, K. Love (who is underrated), Kyrie, Joe Smith, Hood (who is no slouch), and Hill (Starting pg for Indiana in back to back Eastern Conference championship games). He doesn't know how to use what he have or had. Also, Korver, an amazing sharp shooter

I recall Draymond playing 6 out of those 7 games. Warriors still had 3 chances to win 1 game. They knew in their heart that LBJ would beat them more times than not; which is why they recruited Durant. Rockets know they’re not getting past the Warriors & so does LBJ. Which is why Houston would be his best choice.

His biggest weakness is obviously greed: when lebron demanded the max 2 years ago and also that they over pay his teammates that rich paul represents, he decided then that the money was more important than winning. The ballooning of the cap resulted in the loss of several pivital players they won the championship with. Kyrie warned him not to do this, but he did it anyways, strainning the relationship and after almost getting swept the next year, kyrie demanded to be traded.

Here is how I see it. There is more to the game than just stats Lebron fills the stat sheet every game just like MJ great for him. The team will appear to get better because he is the focal point of the team and the other players just play along when it is convenient for them. He does so much and yet he doesn't demand that his team mates play better just that they "Play their role and they will get the ball eventually". Kobe and MJ demanded greatness from their teammates and they never took a play off especially at the end of games when they were needed the most. That is why I have Kobe and Lebron on equal footing regardless of what the stats say giving Lebron the edge in the match up. Lebron did learn how to begin to gain a "Killer mentality" and he displayed it when he beat GS and Boston etc but he picks and chooses when he uses it. Being a pass first guy is great though and Lebron might be one of the better pass first guys of all time but there is a time that you need to carry your team and score. Magic saw that and did it when it was required. This is the reason why he is seen as a top 5 player overall to many people. If he choose to only play seriously in the playoff sure I would say he is better than kobe then for sure but he takes games off in critical moments too diminishing his legacy somewhat. He is a still a first ballet hall of famer and a potential top 5 player of all time when his career is over (I say he is no higher than 5th overall in my eyes but that is just my opinion.) but he is his own unique type of player and the closest guy to him to me will always be Magic Johnson not MJ. Comparing him to MJ will never be a fair comparison and I hate it when people do it.

Jim Jackson was another tough minded player. And no these two don’t come close to lebron offensively as a force. But they were rough and rugged dudes. Alexander Boagni is Jim Jackson or Steven Jackson better than LeBron at any point in their career?
@GeneralAlexander894 жыл бұрын
Tommy Bundy If you read my Reply I clearly stated they were not on Lerbon’s level as an offensive Force. I’m in no way saying they were even close to him. Please don’t twist the statement. And clearly you didn’t really read what I said. As I specified what I meant by dog when highlighting an Incident where stack proved that. It’s a street term. Not every man walkin the planet has a dog in him.-----------------------Maybe “DOG” means something different to you which I’m fine with. But In my circle and and in others I’ve been in A DOG is someone who has a killer mentality. Just because the skill isn’t thier to reach an elite / legendary level, doesn’t mean that it is absent in their player profile. I don’t connect it to skill. It’s an intangible . WILT VS RUSSELL. Prime example. ----------------------And LBJ has clearly not displayed this dog in many moments throughout His career, as a player like Stack has. Are his responsibilities lower yes. ----------------------But Mike and Kob’ did display it consistently. AND Why are they not allowed to critique what they see From him as a basketball player ? Yo, Please check stacks tape. Dude was NOT a scrub. Neither was Jim Jackson.-----------------------So Is he above reproach? Is he so godly at basketball we can only say positive things as an opinion to be considered knowledgeable ? These are players who have actually played the game and gone up against him, as well as Mike and Kobe . ----------------------- and if you’re saying Stack and Jim Jackson can’t express their opinion since they’re not on his level l, which clearly they aren’t. Then why are we even commentating ? I know I’m not an nba player , and I’m sure you’re not. Lebron always needs the narrative controlled .-----------------------this is what concerns me about some Lbj fans, one can never say something against him without coming off as a lebron hater, a Jordansexual(which is hilarious ) or unworthy to talk about the game. I think it’s quite fair to state he doesn’t have the dog in him----------------------- 2009 they won 65 games flame Out to Orlando in the ECF////////2010 Boston//////// 2011 Dallas//////// where was the killer? A man with his size , and that ability would beat those magic.
