Why is it petty when the team undermines a person who makes them money? But when they push players out the door, then its just business? Terry is missing the point. This isn't like Carson Wentz getting nervous about Jalen Hurts. Rodgers is not worried about losing his job to Love on merit. He sees that regardless of how he plays, they plan on moving off of him next season, so he would rather move now or have them change that plan by signing him to a new deal that would require them to trade Love and for them fire Gutekunst while their at it. He doesn't want to play for GB unless they are committed to him long term.

I agree with Shannon that being dependent on accolades to ask senior leadership for their opinion and insight is dangerous. In my opinion, an open door policy with senior leadership up to owners for everyone is paramount to equity and addressing blind spots. No woman, man, or group should be a barrier to process or answers.
