The third fight between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder lived up to the hype. Both guys went blow-for-blow in an instant classic that finished with Fury emerging victorious after knocking Wilder to the mat in the 11th round. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe rate the fight on the all-time great scale of 1-10.

I think Fury deserves to pick his next opponent in his own time. Joshua just lost and wants his rematch. I know FURY wants to unify so, maybe Fury unifies against the winner of the rematch of Joshua vs Usyk. Well done FURY, man of God. Rest and relax in the love of your Newborn and family... Wilder has no skill. Telegraghs everything, no jab, no footwork, doesn't know how to clinch, how about put your hands up. Exposed. Too old to change. A heart and a chin wins in a bar but you need skills in the ring.

@@ronaldpalmore7810, Ronald I agree he doesn't have traditional ring skills like some of the past Champions but he's no chump. He held the WBC Title for over 5 years and had something like 10 or 11 title defenses. I mean it took a 6'9 277 lb. Man in Tyson Fury who is the biggest Heavyweight Champion ever. He's also very versatile and can Box and slug, wrestle. He used is body to practically lay on Wilder to tire him out. Deontay was good enough to put Fury to the canvas 4 times in there 3 fights. I mean despite his non traditional ring skills he's been a good Champion and was successful in his on way. Boxing is about imposing your will on your opponent and he was able to do that until he met Fury who is just so big and very skilled.

He never landed flush on the jaw full power. He landed a short right hand that wasn’t able to fully extend to the top of head that put fury down the first time Saturday night. Second time was a shot on the ear/top side of the head. Trust me, if he had landed a fully extended right hand to the jaw, we would know, because nobody in the world is getting up from that. By round 7 he had lost his power AND speed anyway. Wilder has no cardio. To be honest I think since the knockdown happened in round 12 of the first fight that’s why fury was able to get up. There isn't a HW out there that can beat him. Life beat him down, but he got back up and is winning that battle now. Think if he never had stopped training ??? The only person that can beat him is himself. Just like the Man he is named after. No one stood a chance against Mike until after Cus passed away. Cant see wilder coming back from this. I mean by that I don’t think he would ever be able to beat Fury. He will be top 2 or 3 from this point forward. He is 35 too so time is not on his side.

Wilder actually put up more of a fight than I thought he would. But at the end of the day, if they fought 3 more times, Fury would beat Wilder 3 more times. And Anthony Joshua won't last 4 rounds with Fury.
@wynn1023

4 rounds a little exaggerated. Joshua has more tools than wilder. I feel like Joshua has a better chance of beating fury than wilder. But wilder beats Joshua

The difference between these fighters is one started boxing in his youth and one started in his 20s....that's where this fight was won and lost. Fury is the only one that can beat Wilder and nobody can beat Fury. Best fight of this generation. 2 Warriors one was going out his shield 🛡️ and one was going to survive.

Exactly. I kind of feel sorry for Wilder. If he was born a few years earlier, he would have been dominating the Klitscho era. If he was born a decade later, he'd be the next (after Fury) king of the ring. It's like all of those great players during the era of Michael Jordan -- knowing that they'd had to settle for second place. It's like those great AFC teams during the 1985-1998 era who knew that -- even if they won the AFC Championship -- they'd still lose to the NFC Champions in the Super Bowl.

I hardly ever watch boxing, I have watched a handful of fights in my life. For some reason I woke up at 4am in the U.K., went downstairs paid my money to BT sport for the PPV and watched the whole thing. From the reaction it sounds like I chose a good fight to watch! It was incredible. Well done Fury! Representing my city Manchester! Also I’m glad Fury was so respectful to America in his press conferences and post fight speech. True champion.

@meme-cn6mv
@meme-cn6mv 2 жыл бұрын
It's not conditioning Fury came in at 277 Wilder was 230 that's 40+ ,that's was so smart of Fury he layed on Wilder and tired out his legs. On top of being hit with bombs the entire your motor functions turn off. Skip and shannon are Wrong about the weight difference. Fury gained that weight for strategy not laziness and it worked.
