Nick Sirianni should of split the difference and gave him at least a half. This is a BIG deal. He can't win MVP because he's a running back. There's nothing else to play for. And for the Giants, what they'd be playing for is "He ain't breaking this record on US." A month ago, my mom surprised me with 2 tickets to this week's game. My FIRST EVER Eagles game, driving 10 hours each way, $800+ on hotel stay... I've been so excited all week that my wife and I had the chance to witness history. Now I'm just gonna see our starters wearing sweaters on the sidelines. Every team loves to say, "records aren't as important as winning... winning the Super Bowl is the number one goal" No. The number one goal is revenue. Revenue to pay your players, your coaches, staff, the janitors at the stadium, the marketing team, etc etc, and revenue comes from THE FANS. The goal IS NOT the Super Bowl. The goal is to have the most fans and to keep them. Now, winning a Super Bowl obviously helps gain fans in a big way, but THIS DECISION HERE... man I tell you, a lot of Philly fans WOULD rather chase this record. It's football royalty. I never thought THIS Eagles team would go soft on something like this. It's our identity. "No one likes us and we don't care".
