Dunny is a true Rovers Legend, even when he was half dead he dominated the pitch. Dunny+Tugay were a dream to watch. Probably my all time favourite Rover, beyond even Garner, Shearer, Hendry, Tugay and the rest. Dougie and Clayton were before my time mind. The early and mid 00’s teams with Dunny, Tugay, Flitcroft, Jansen, Cole, Duff, Savage, Nelson, Samba, Friedel, Emerson, Pederson and even up to the David Bentley era were as exciting if not more exciting than the mid 90’s Shearer-era. If only Dunny and Duff were a couple of years older, they’d have been first team regulars and we would not have gone down in 1999.

There was a ridiculous amount of talent in the England u21s side, Ferdinand, Carrick, Cole, Gerrard, Lampard and Dunn was the captain of that side. The two most naturally gifted English footballers in that No8 position since Gazza both really had unfulfilled careers, Dunn and Joe Cole, we have never really understood how to get the best out of those types of player... the injuries didn't help either of them too.
