By exploring various archaeological digs in the East of the UK, we showcase significant discoveries from different time periods. Over the years, we've uncovered traces of Britain's earliest occupants, Roman archaeology, and evidence of Britain's first clash with Rome. In London, a large excavation reveals remnants of ancient Roman structures, including a temple, offering insights into the city's past.
Welcome to Unearthed History -- the home for all things archaeological! From ancient Roman ruins to buried medieval mysteries, we'll be bringing you award-winning documentaries that explore the remnants of long lost civilizations.

Alice brings a warmth, passion and rather elegant presence that conveys information easily and with endless charm. Loved her on the old Time Team episodes whenever she appeared, and she's just gotten better and better over the years. The only presenter that would make me happier would be if Phil Harding got his own knapping and stone age series, that man is a National Treasure, lol. Cheers from across The Pond here in Colorado!

I wonder if the diver on the ship wreck Hazardous Prize, Iain Grant. Knows how similar his accent is to some small populated areas of the Chesapeake Bay Maryland and Virginia area.

Human remains end up in boxes in warehouses for decades. Artifacts are either boxed away , sold at auction , or destroyed. Rarely donthey end up in museums. 1/1000 maybe

I've heard stories from a couple of night hawkers I know, as far as I'm concerned if you're on a farmer's field in the middle of the night, without permission, digging up treasure, then it is theft.

Time index 34:35, 445,000 years ago the Anunnaki came to Earth, in search of resources, in particlar, gold. Having viewed many other channels and the reading of books, the Anunnaki played an important part in Human developement. They also introduced farming practices.
