Hey Guys! I found an old video on my computer, I thought would be worth sharing. This is my pineal cyst and subsequent brain injury story, it's unedited so you'll find some flaws and words I trip up on. I thought about editing it, but I find the stories told raw and flawed are often the ones that have the most impact.

I'm not saying he is the only surgeon who can perform this surgery, there are many skilled men and women out there who have the skill to perform such a surgery, he's just the one that did mine.

I had a TBI and I’m on the same quest you are: to get my soul back. I feel ruined. Looking into cognitivefx my bullshit radar goes off. I think it’s an expensive hotel where they promise to fix your damaged mind which in reality science knows very little about. They’re praying on the sick. I mean it only helps because they convince you it does. Sad. Placebo. You know it’s true but you don’t want to admit it because they scammed you. Time may heal our wounds, healthy eating, relaxation. I’m really suffering and have been for three months. I really hope we feel better soon. You’re a nice dude I can tell you’re an optimist at heart - I’m sorry this happened to you.

Do you regret having the pineal cyst removed? Do you think these other things you are doing now could help relieve the symptoms caused by the pineal cyst? I’m sorry to hear about your struggles with all this. You sound like a very smart, intelligent motivated person and I relate to how crappy it feels to not feeling like yourself and capable of reaching full potential bc of invisible symptoms.

This video review is really helpful! I’m recovering from my tbi/pcs, I live in UT, I’ve been traveling out to seeing Dr. Z at Mind Eye for coming up on a year. My nausea has been sooo much better since getting my glasses. My constant headache has improved, but are still very debilitating. I’m getting nerve block injections every 3 weeks or so to manage them. I’m slowly starting to feel more like myself, but I’ve wondered if there are things I’ve missed not every having had more than an MRI done and if it would be worth it to go to cognitive fx, being so close. I feel like I’ve exhausted lots of options. I’ve done all of the therapies offered at cognitive fx, being referred from one place to the next. Looking back I see improvement, but looking ahead I still feel so far from the person I remember being. I guess I’m wondering if you think cognitive fx can offer any pieces I might be missing?

Hey Paige! I’m glad to hear you found the review helpful and have been seeing improvements on your path to healing. Honestly it could be the missing piece to the puzzle of your recovery, or it could not be. There’s really no way to know unless you give it a go. But for the wildly overpriced price tag, it’s really quite the gamble and from what I got out of it deeply overpriced. $2,000 a day is nothing short of robbery in my opinion. How’s Dr. Z been going for you? By the sounds of it she’s been very helpful for you which is so nice to hear! I did that for about 6months and in hindsight I kind of wish I would’ve stuck with it a bit more but with the price increases they’ve implemented it also felt like I was getting taken advantage of financially. So I’ve opted to do love eye therapy instead, which has been so so. Have you had a sleep study done?

@@chocolope17 for sure man! There’s been a ton of therapy that has helped me get where I am today. Mainly doing everything under the sun that can help me. Atlas orthogonal. rTMS. Hormone replacement therapy. CognitiveFX. Vision therapy. And a ton of supplements. Where are you on the journey?

@@evanbrown525 Interestinggg you have basically tried everything I’m looking into haha. Did rTMS actually work? It’s used for depression right? Do you feel you’re at a place where you can be like f*k concussion I don’t even need to think about it anymore lol?

@@chocolope17 TMS the benefits with this were transient to say the least. I’d encourage you to go get a sleep study done, I recently found out I have sleep apena and after sleeping with a cpa machine I’m feeling much better!
