Fun fact - When the Eye Mini first launched it came with face-to-path data, but that metric got removed by an update not long after launch. I've been an Eye Mini owner for almost 1 year and after the firmware updates of the last 3 months I'm extremely happy with the device. There were some spin axis issues that are now resolved. If the budget can extend, I'd definitely pay the additional for the full fat Eye Mini vs the Mini Lite.... You not only get the battery portability from the Mini, but also the screen with multiple data points which makes it much easier to fault find when shot data stops going through to GSPro.

I had a Skytrak+, it was good but I found the GSPRO community connector wasn't 100% great and I got frustrated so I sold the skytak+ and bought a Eye mini lite. So far it's brilliant ! No issues, connection to GSPRO is seamless and shots are instant. I use it outside in the garden hitting off a mat when weather is permitting with no issues. I do miss Skytrak+ portability when in the garden but I would rather have reliability. I did think should I just go for the Eye mini, but the cost difference is too great.

Yes seamless integration with GSPro is one thing I am looking for in a new launch monitor - which is why I’m looking beyond the ST+

Looks a great unit like the speedy response after hitting . Loving the Protee Vx bit more expensive ,improving all time with software updates .

@@hcpgolf Yes defo integrates really well with Gspro with no additional subscription……at the moment (hopefully continues). Position on ceiling possibly vulnerable from a skied driver teed too high …..not hit it yet !! Range on there software bit basic perhaps they will tweak at some point,but Gspro has plenty of options ! Protee support really good too . Doesn’t seem to many people with problems on #protee Discord channel which is reassuring . Wonder if Garmin will surface with revamped LM ?!

@@125phr have you had any issues with carry distances? I’ve seen/heard someone saying ProTee just told them to adjust their altitude settings to get more accurate data even though the altitude was not true to where they were in the world! Also how do you find the accuracy of club path & face angle data?

@@hcpgolf I’m not a high swing speed golfer too old 🙄. Would say my carry distances are spot on with expected in real life .Club path tricky one to gauge but seems about right ,may try and get local pro in to see what he thinks . Face angle again not 100% sure but I tend to get a bit flippy going after some extra distance and close the face on impact can feel yourself doing and it shows on Protee big pull to left usually O.B 😂 Bit of an erratic 9 handicap but when you feel like you’ve made a bad swing it goes the direction you’d expect !! Not sure how far they will get with tweaking software but seems like still some fine tuning to do !! Software Updates appear 10 day to 2 week intervals generally .

If you have a SkyTrak, then I get the Eye Mini but I have a Foresight GC3 and will never replace it with an Eye Mini. The photo impact is cool but just one feature.

Ye if you had a GC3 I don’t imagine anyone would be changing it for an Eye Mini

How often do you get a no-read with the driver? My skytrak misses a lot of driver shots. It’s very frustrating… looking to upgrade. My club speed is around 105mph

I think I hit about 15-20 shots with driver when testing and had zero no reads. Not tested this unit extensively to give an accurate enough opinion, so maybe anyone else reading this may be able to give a better insight…

I live in Australia got a mini lite 3 weeks ago for my first golf simulator and loving it. Haven’t pulled the trigger on GSPRO yet as I’m playing the software you have just shown. I am off 11 Hcp really working hard on my 8 to wedges spin scoring irons. Finding the distance and shot shape to be correct as when on the course Love ya channel keep it up
