I was going to suggest one of the same things that someone has already said - could you ask the homeowner about repainting the room and use a ring light to facilitate greater light in your room? Perhaps those two options together could help to fill the gap of not having a lot of light in the downstairs room.

Excited to see your rent tours! I don’t know why the previous home owners decided to paint their walls navy blue. It’s too dark for a room. Here in NJ, renting a nice one bedroom apartment is about 2,000+ a month.
@kenk6844 жыл бұрын
Something that might help is to put mirrors in the room to reflect light in the dark room.

Would you be able to paint the room a different color. Maybe a lighter color to make it seem bigger since the darker color does absorb all the lighting

okay you are literally so pretty 🥺 also which cities in Alaska would you recommend moving to? I’m 15 and my parents have looked into Wasilla and anchorage but they’re still looking so if you have any other recommendations I’d love to hear! :)
@curlytoezz4 жыл бұрын
If you’re looking more for a “off the grid vibe” then wasilla is it but if you want more of a “city vibe” anchorage is it. Either one is very beautiful but anchorage is definitely more sort of updated and has more stores etc.

I randomly came across your video. Are you attached to Anchorage? If you can afford 950 a month there are good options in the valley :) I pay that for a great 2 bedroom. When I had a roommate I had a beautiful townhome with 3 beds and 2.5 bathrooms and have recently looked at houses to rent for around 1,000, but I can't do that alone lol. Just saying, you may want to look beyond.
