In terms of concealment over fibres i use Batista Divine Dark dry shampoo. Its easier to use and direct than fibres it stays in the hair much better and it blends much better. Its obviously very safe for your hair as its a dry shampoo and its also a fraction on the price. There are litterally no downsides plus you can even use it after your hair has grown in to give a more thicker look to your hair. Seriously guys please try it no matter what stage of your hair transplant your at its an incredibly powerful tool.

@beard6160 Жыл бұрын
@funky12374 it's pretty good tbh although unfortunately the crown isn't as dense as the front and midscalp. I've now discovered the donor area has been overharvested, so I've booked for smp. My aim is to keep my hair very short and it's not far off ideal , so smp should finish the job. Overall I look so much better and it'll look great once the final piece in the jigsaw is put in place.

Why did my clinic say not to use any type of fibers or hair products for 12 months? tahts crazy? NO?? can I start at 6 months?
@Goodhello3692 ай бұрын
Maybe to avoid infection and potential inflammation of scalp which would affect or slow results. It may be to just protect in case someone has sensitive scalp
@NioChannel5 жыл бұрын
My doctor says that 15 days after the hair transplant you can use fibers and there is no danger regarding this, due to the fact that the new hair is 6 m.m down to the scalp. Fibers can affect only the scalp, not the new hair. Although, you should wash your hair everyday.

Hi! Thanks for the video. I had an FUE procedure and started microneedling 1.5mm 3 months after. I was told by my surgeon that it was no problem. However I am seeing comments on forums that one should wait 6 months or even up to a year. I have only done 3 sessions of microneedling and have now stopped. But do you think I could have damaged my new grafts? I know the grafts are between 3mm to 4mm deep so the needles cant get to them. Thank you :)

Matt i had this problem for about the first 5 month but i just carried on with the supplements bacause i dont believe in topical lotions for hair growth as the hair finds its nutrients from within the body and your diet. Now at 7 month it has evened out nicely and now only has to mature and thicken. A good diet i would recommend over topical solutions because like you say its all in the blood supply.
@zed29605 жыл бұрын
What is a good diet, and which supplements are you talking?
@freedom4life1235 жыл бұрын
@@zed2960 a good diet in general should go without saying but i added a lot of b vitamin complex foods and also sea foods like mussels mackeral and other oily fish, try foods like walnuts and pumpkin seeds which also inhibit DHT. Biotin is a key suppement for hair which i take daily. I could go on forever about food and nutritional information but google is your friend here ;)
@letsgethair5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment Eddy! We should also understand, that your newly implanted hair is healthy hair which was taken out from your donor zone recently and thus ready to achieve great thickness to begin with. If somebody has uneven growth, that means that the hair has just a slower hair growth cycle and its growth cycle needs to be triggered or speeded up. No need to boost it´s thickness I think. It will achieve the same thickness as in the donor area anyways...I think. Dont get me wrong, a healthy diet is a very important part, especially for your overall health. But if I had to choose between two guys with the same hair loss, one being on a perfect diet while the second one using minoxidil and topical finasteride, I think the second guy would be able to stop his hair loss much better and potentially even regrow hair. I don´t think we have enough research on how diet really affects hair loss and new hair growth. As an example, I will tell you about myself. I have been eating very very clean diet since I was 19 or 20. I had enough healthy fats, good quality proteins, B vitamins, enough veggies etc. and my hair loss still got worse year by year. I think though, the bottom line is to keep your body´s pH in the neutral zone. Once your body becomes acidic for a longer time, it will trigger inflammation and if you have weak hair genes, your hair will start thining. It is very hard though, to estimate which foods, minerals and vitamins to consume more of for better hair growth or to keep your body in a neutral pH state. Sometimes 99 things out of 100 can be on point and there will be one last thing wrong in the equation like a huge deficit of Vitamin D or Zinc and your hair can be f*cked. Just my opinion on how nutrition can or can´t affect your hair. Cheers and thanks for your inputs!
@freedom4life1235 жыл бұрын
@@letsgethair great comment matt and you touched on some important points there, i agree minox and fin will speed up the process of growth albeit in an unnatural way compared to just a healthy diet and i agree about not letting your body become acidic. I do believe that regardless of how healthy you are has little impact on wether you keep your hair or not, i mean think of this.. Ive seen alcoholic junkies and homeless people with full heads of hair and ive seen atheletes who take great care of themselves and they are bald, so i believe that regardless of how you live your life if your predisposed for MPB then nothing will stop the onset of it. The hair transplant is the only proven remedy for this and until cloning comes along this is the best method of ridding this cruel trick nature plays on us men. But thanks for those good points you touched on. Ps: one thing that does puzzle me is why MPB takes on the horse shoe shape and why it doesnt affect the back and sides. This has always intrigued me.

You should tell people What happens if you stop minoxidil? If you stop applying minoxidil to your scalp, you'll gradually lose any hair that you've regrown as a result of the medication. Minoxidil is a well-studied medication that's safe to use for the long term
