Transplants which include the front, mid and vertex in sibgle session and more than 4000 grafts could take longer than 6 months. Growth starts at 4th month. It's not supposed to end at 6th month especially for megasessions as it takes the body longer to feed and sprout those large amount of grafts.

Would recommend you pay close attention to the growth stage of given area(s) transplanted. You can literally watch the progression from wispy to thickening, and ultimately how long the hair grows before falling out and beginning the growth cycle again. If the transplanted hair seems as though it's stuck in the catogen phase, you know you need to add some more preventative measures to kick it up to the anogen phase. Don't wait until it goes exogenous and ultimately need to revive strands.

I am doing smp as a density fill, so a long battle and around 9k I'll have defeated this genetic nightmare.

I think month 3 6 and 11 have been the most significant, but the crown is still probably a little thin. I hold some hope it might get there, but I fear another is required and I already had to get SMP to conceal the fue scars. the whole point is. Single grafts growing within +- 3 months double grafts growing = 1st hair within 3 months, the second hair comes in aprox 3 months later.. can be much sooner to and so on with triples/quadruples so in 6 months you got the most of the grafts growing, in the next months.. the triples/quadruples are growing in so the result is only getting fuller and more maturing at 12 month mark, all the hairs are in their normal state like the rest on your head

Did you use any other thing for help your hair grow? Besides shampoo, if you did what did you use? I’m on my 30dAys and I started to use minoxidil
@letsgethair6 жыл бұрын
No I havent used any minoxidil back then but I started using it now for thickening up my existing hair. I dont think that minoxidil will thicken up your transplanted hair if you will use it 1-2 months after hair transplnat but I think it will make your hair grow faster after hair transplant (transplanted hair as well as native hair). Minoxidil only prolongs the anagen phase and since your transplanted hair fell off because of shock loss, it will naturally go to the anagen phase anyways and it will grow as thick as it can without minoxidil. But minixidil is important for your native hair which is thinning. This hair needs some boost in terms of prolonging its anagen phase because its hair growth cycle was disrupted. I also recommend saw palmetto, biotin (although it wont do much I think) and laser therapy + PRP is advisable. Dont forget about Finasteride which is also there and is effective for blocking DHT as well.

Hallo Matt! First of all, I like your videos, but I think you should have added cases like my story. Photos like those you showed aren't always a good example. I had most of my growth between 7 and 18 months!! :) 4100 grafts. Reasons why my transplant looked like a poor result at 6 months were also because my hair was short AND because 4100 isn't enough to cover my baldness. I need at least 8000 so I'll definitely have a 2nd HT and probably a 3rd. I remember how I felt at 6 months. I was devastated hearing stories like "there is no such thing as late growers, best results are seen at 6 months", but people don't take into account there are too many parameters involved determining the final result. I was so frustrated that my mind started playing a lot of nasty tricks and I even got to the point of doubting my surgeon's skill (and trust me they are one of the best clinics in the world!). I felt unsatisfied till 11-12 months. Now it's been 18 months and I am happy to see how far 4100 grafts have taken me. However, HT failures do happen but I believe it comes down to the surgeon skills or non-diagnosed striking health issues.
@letsgethair6 жыл бұрын
awesome man! Have you also started taking Finasteride or Minoxidil? this can also be the case why you got good result so late.
@simonepietrofelice6 жыл бұрын
I read different opinions by surgeons online. Some say Finasteride and Minoxidil give the illusion of speeding up post-op grafts regrowth, because it’s actually the native thinning hair that is getting a bit stronger. Although it makes sense to think Minoxidil would do its part in the speed up process: it stimulates blood vessels and it’s prescribed for telogen effluvium cases (which is basically what a traumatised graft is going through). Finasteride is simply a hormonal pill to block DHT levels, therefore I don’t see how it helps traumatised telogen effluvium grafts to recover faster. I only used some minoxidil from month 10 till month 14. :)

I am right after the 6 months mark , had 4.200 grafts implanted and I feel that my result is not what I expected. Density is not great, hairs are not thick, the overall result is better than my previous condition, but i still believe that it could get better and thicker. I wish my case is not much different than yours!

@@81StrangeFruit When I entered the 8th month I was massively frustrated. The miracle happened between the 9th and the 10th month when the the growth exploded and it got way thicker. At 12-13 it was pretty much done but it continued getting a little better till 15-18 months. I wasn't taking any finasteride or minoxidil back then and these two surely do help to speed up the regrowth.

Hi Matt, I am at month 5 and saw the most growth over the past few weeks. Quick question for you relating to donor area, I have been getting bumpy painful pimples in the donor area. I think it's probably just from ingrown hairs growing through at different angles from the extracted site. Did you have any problems like this? I have been using the essential oils you talked about. I was with my doctor recently and said it's normal from extracting so many grafts. Just needs time. Any suggestions from your research I don't thinks it is an infection.
@letsgethair6 жыл бұрын
Hey man, thanks for the comment! How many grafts were extracted again? No I havent experienced any painful stuff on my donor area after 2 weeks. Since you are at the 5 month mark I am wondering what this could be. It is definitely not so normal. Pimples are fine but why painful? They shouldnt be painful.
@markaward6 жыл бұрын
It's probably Folliculitis it can be very common I believe. I got 4500 grafts extracted. They come and go so hopefully they go for good soon.

Your hairline doesn’t look natural at all, this is what most people don’t want and pay more for trust.
@alexanderk65755 жыл бұрын
Sorry I had to dislike only because your facts aren't right. The google pictures you were going off aren't even legit transplant photos. Its like looking at a picture of a Big Mac - not actual how it looks 50/50 first 6 months and the following 6 months

Do you mind looking into this and maybe doing a review ! Appreciate the feedback!

If you want natural results don't go to Turkey
@letsgethair6 жыл бұрын
I disagree, there are lots of good clinics in Turkey in the 4-8k range. I would never pay 20k for a hair transplant even if it would look more natural than a prepubertal hairline of Brad Pitt.
@TheLifeOfNurse6 жыл бұрын
Matt Dominance Hair Transplant That's exactly what I'm saying though. If you go the cheap turkey route, be prepared for unnatural results. You get what you pay for man.
