Thank you for the video. I have 2 of the Hubsan mini SE drones. I really like them but they do have those issues you mentioned. Question. How were you locking and unlocking the settings? I am enjoying the longer flight times and take them with me everywhere. I wish it was a better camera but the one it has is pretty good. I would love to see more videos and tips about the Mini SE. Thanks

The SE is the best all round package for a mini drone from Hubsan. The Hubsan Mini (Black arms) is OK but has its own issues as well. To lovk the EV.. you just ta[p the screen on the device .

I used hlog and then edited with capcut to get the colours i wanted. easy and works like a charm 😎

You can correct that in the app. Unchecked the airplane will always in the center position, and that's it! Your welcome!

Just had a look and my SE has saturation 128 as default (FW: V1.1.6) :O Have to try and play with those settings. New to drone filming and just discovering different settings :) Maybe stupid question, but how do you land like that? I've always used return to home from the app, selecting "land in current place". That landing style would be useful sometimes!

Thank you. You can set the RTH to either current location(whereas the drone lands) or I believe it's "Take off location" which is the place you started from. Also look at my the option of clicking on the map for an alternate landing site. When you take off there is a message that pops up saying about alternate landing location. This would be good if you were flying and physically ended up away from where you took off.. like on a hike etc. Good Luck.. enjoy.

It’s pretty clear that the white balance is changing as you pass over different terrain. Your saturation tests would therefore make much more sense if you locked WB - maybe the MiniSE has a colour temperature slider when you go to manual WB. I love the compass heading gadget in the X Hubsan app, if only other makes would follow suit.

Hello, I sold my FIMI X8 2022 V2 to buy this drone, it's still on its way through AliExpress, I changed the drone because in theory, zino mini has a bigger sensor, It also has a better signal and comes with a case and two batteries and is cheaper than the FIMI, how do you like the photos with this drone? Is the image quality worth it? hugs and thanks

The X8 SE 2022 has a 1/2" sensor and the HZMSE has a 1/2.6 (smaller) . The Hubsan Mini has the 1/1.3 sensor (much bigger) as does the new X8 Pro. But 12MP photos are good on the HZMSE but because of the smaller sensor, dont expect large prints to be perfect. I might have gone for the 3 battery option with the HZMSE-R for $419. But it seems all Fimi drones use the same App programming and have similar issues. I hope Fimi can perfect their FC programming, gimbal tilt etc. Good luck with the HZMSE... for a sub 250g it handles great. I'm posting another video soon and am amazed really.

Very much amazing love ya videos about minis. I just watched the DJI mini 3 too I'm a beginner and I want have a fun with it too. Through your tutorials I bought Fimi X8 mini drone but my pro battery can only last about 15 min. What do I do. Anyway upload more videos we the beginners too. Thanks.. The X8 Mini V2 is basically the same as V1 with a better camera. I have dozens of videos on the V1. Go back to one of the first where I do a step by step intro to the X8 Mini for the beginner. If you bbought the Pro Battery your flight times will be reduced. 15 minutes could be about right depending how much is left when you land. Did you watch my X8 Mini V2 video on the different batteries?

For the two batteries there are the: Intelligent Flight PRO "aka Pro version in user manual" [ a LiPo 2S, 2200mAH, 16.94Wh, 7.7V (max 8.8V), 86g intelligent battery; meets 250g total drone mass reg.] Intelligent Flight PLUS "aka Standard version in user manual" [a Li-Ion 2S, 2400mAH, 17.28Wh, 7.2V (max 8.4V), 102g intelligent battery with extended range...BUT drone total weight will exceed 250g]

@@jb678901 : There are now 3 batteries for the X8 Nini Drone.. The standard, The Plus and the Pro. The Pro is the only one that reduces the craft weight to below 250g. It is also the only Li-Po in the bunch and also has the shortest flight time.

Hi mate, you’ve the same trouble I have : if you try to set the EV just after the drone is ready to fly, you ‘ll note that the ev value can be set; if you start to set others parameters like saturation or others, baching on the EV SET, you will not be able to set it, is completely loched,you can see the change only on the phone but not in the EV VALUE ON THE APP! If you restart all system again all is ok! There was not this problem in the past! This app is a fake,it needs to take on hand. Ciao my friend! Luca.👋

I think with Hubsan & Fimi drones.. your best bet is to leave it in Auto and fine tune in post. But I fear Hubsan has given up on these earlier Mini versions. Its a shame.. the HZMSE is one of their best.

Had the zino mini pro around 12 months and that was complete rubbish signal loss video loss kicked it into touch and bought a mini 2

The odd thing is.. I have flown the HZMP, HZMSE & HM in the exact same location several times and get different results . Its a head scratcher for sure.

Oops!.. How? I have crashed my MAvic Mini 4-5 times into trees & branches.. my Hubsan Mini 2-3 times and once fell into the lake from a tree.. my Parrot ANAFI 2-3 times once into a pole -tree-snowbank and my X8 Mini V1 flipped over and skidded across the driveway. I also had a Hubsan Zino that flipped over because I put the props on wrong :D 🥲🥲
