Cockroaches induce stripping too, i had one in my pants. I gripped it thightly through the fabric and had to pull my jeans out with one hand because i did not wanted to let the roach go before i had it out. Trust me, removing jeans one handed is difficult!

My Avicularia Braunshauseni is a nightmare to rehouse. For a few minutes it just sits put like it's glued to the side of the enclosure (even though I'm trying to move it with a stick), and then all of a sudden bolts like crazy. Took me 20 minutes to rehouse my small juvenile xd

My Brachypelma hamorii does the same thing! They're so crazy xD (I can't stand trying to move it when they glue themselves like that, I always feel like I'm gonna break their legs) glad to see that it went ok!

Short info about the thomisoides.. you should give them a piece of a cork bark or something else, because they need a place to hang down during molts to get better out of the old skin.

They have an event at the Tucson Sonoran Desert Museum where they give you black lights and you go out after sunset and just look at how many scorpions are out and about. I imagine that wouldn't look great on video, but it could be a cool thing for you to try if you all have some black lights!

I don’t keep tarantulas yet but I do keep false widows and rehousing them is awful, I’ve resorted to doing it in the bath and putting them on a rock surrounded by water, mostly because most of them are tiny and aspirin to be the flash! My big female however just sits there and doesn’t give a damn.

Man, i really really like your videos, they are Just awesome! I was thinking, wouldn't be easier to put the old enclosure inside the New one and then try to take the tarantula out? I mean, If it bolts it would be allready inside the right place and, Also, what if you put a tiny hole under the cups, that just fits the stick? You could poke the tarantula upside down directly to it's New house and could block the hole with a simple tape, i don't know If it's bad to use the old substract in the New enclosure but That's an ideia there :D
