It was long overdue. As much as I love the woods, its better when you have somebody to share it with.

So glad you met up with Marc, you are a genuine people person that's why this 'lock down' is so hard for you. Your filming ratio is not all that bad, when a crew was filming in town some years ago, we asked how much of what they shot would end up in the finished film. Chap said they are doing very well if they get one foot of usable in every twenty two foot of film 🎥 but many times it can be more like one foot in every seventy if they have to do several takes of a scene🤯. At least you're digital 🤗 Thanks for sharing your escape, love Mo x

I know exactly what you mean and it can be a right ball ache, it doesn't just stop at filming though. It's the hours of editing, creating a thumbnail, adding a decent description, adding tags, cards, end screens and then promoting on social media. Glad you got to meet up with Marc again 👍

Interesting to see how much hassle it is to film! A lot of YTers make it look so easy, but clearly a lot of work goes into it.

The learning curve for adding a second camera has more that doubled my editing time! Lol. Maybe soon I'll get better at it

I’ve tried to film my camps, but it took a lot of the enjoyment out of the camping so I don’t do it any more, just a few stills in stead.

Yep I’m tired of talking to just my wife and kids too. Lol !!! Seriously though our lockdown here in Ottawa has been lifted this week. Nearly everything is opening up again but with restrictions of course. And that’s fine. My mom, sister and brother live about 1.5 away and we cheated a bit last week and went to see them for the day. They weren’t in lockdown at the time but we were. We weren’t suppose to travel (stay at home order) but it lifted my mom’s spirits seeing us and my kids. Anyways you take care and stay safe.

I have a video camera and maybe once a fortnight I film my video diary. But I find that the most difficult thing is talking to the camera and making it sound coherent. So I usually need to script what I want to say and tape sheets of A4 paper to the camera tripod. These diary clips are pretty mundane stuff and only for my own amusement, they are not for sharing online.

Thats how I started, like a video diary. Its nice to look back through them sometimes.

They should go you then. What are they fearful of?
@thegroove20003 жыл бұрын
I would advise to turn off the fear porn the propaganda on theTV. Its not reality as things happen naturally but mostly engineered on ther news. Perception deception. Life is for living not to be in fear that is disabling. That's a mental issue.
@frogmaster833 жыл бұрын
@@thegroove2000 I partly agree, but in my case I have to be careful. Blood cancer and no immune system after 6 months of chemo. Just a normal case of the flu could do me in.
@thegroove20003 жыл бұрын
@@frogmaster83 Don't smoke. Eat a diet high in fruits and vegetables. Exercise regularly. Maintain a healthy weight. If you drink alcohol, drink only in moderation. Get adequate sleep. Take steps to avoid infection, such as washing your hands frequently and cooking meats thoroughly. Try to minimize stress. (Keep current with all recommended vaccines. Vaccines prime your immune system to fight off infections before they take hold in your body), but your body can do that naturally and much safer. Also, the covid vaccine does not actually stop you from contracting or passing on the purported virus so its kind of pointless as it offers no benefit over natural immunity. On TV they won't tell you that as they want to sell the drugs with all the rest of the misdirecting.
