different knives for different tasks, but in it's appropriate category i don't think opinel has many rivals at all. and most of the ones that do exist are obviously copying the opinel design. worth noting: there is a plastic model with a half serrated blade and a whistle built into the handle. imo an upgrade from the regular wooden ones.
@frogmaster83Күн бұрын
Yes I have seen the plastic one, in fact I got one as a present for a young guy that was just starting out.

Would this jacket be ok for temperaturs of -15 celsius and below or is it not warm enough for very cold weather?
@frogmaster832 күн бұрын
I think it would depend on what you have under it. The military very much rely on a layering system.

Great video, my own experience was with DPM and I learned that keeping low and in shadows was my best mate. In all honesty today as Thermal kit is getting cheaper and more widespread which camouflage is used only differentiates the side on which the wearer is batting for. Shape shine shadow sudden movement sound and smell was the old mantra, it needs revising today, to stay at home as they can find you if they want you..

@@frogmaster83 I have pictures of my mates and blokes I served with in the 80’s and 90’s, in the UK, Germany and Canada, Cyprus it worked well for us, but then again if I was asked to choose a weapon to go to war with I’d probably want the SLR L1A1. I moaned at the gravy train, jobs for old boys within the MOD & ROF., all this buying off the shelf kit as required and no longer having the means to produce what our armed forces need to function was and still is the biggest mistake our country ever made. I was a life time labour voter but no more. I am going green more out of protest and the lack of anyone on the left existing now than anything else. At least they don't want to continue the cull of disabled people the tories started. As much as I don't like Galloway as a human being and find some of his policies frankly terrifying had they had a representative in my area I would have probably gone for them, I even looked at the communist party-till I read their manifesto lol! All I can say is thank feck the green party finally got someone to stand here. What is your opinion on people standing in an area they don't live? Tory, Lib dem and Reform have people standing in my area that live over 100miles away 🤷

Not sure with the temperature as I have not used that bag ,but I dont think the will be enough room for the pad inside as well. I have been down to -3 in a 3 season sleeping bag and a sleep mat under it.

Light and do the job. Fine for 3 season use and cheaper enough to be almost disposable.

You're right about all those channels with bigfoot sightings or paranormal themes. Lots of views, but not much sense. Down here in Australia we have Yowie's rather than bigfoot - same thing, different continent. A few channels seem to have done well out of it. There are also some dedicated to the Tasmanian tiger - a large marsupial predator which is probably extent. Those guys do well too. Maybe you should have a bigfoot sighting while wild swimming in some fetching swimwear on a roundabout? You've got a good channel - love what you are doing now. Cheers.

If you can use some light branching to elevate the scrim off the tent it'll help with airflow/insulation and also the scrims solid bits will cast a shadow, potentially making it darker inside. In stealth elf mode it breaks up your shape as well. Double up/scrag it up in places and you should be living la vida snoozo. 😂
