Thank you so much!! We have come so far in the past 202 days since leaving the USA. The sense of accomplishment is AMAZING!!! Doing that long crossing makes shorter sails seem so easy!

Will do! It was a very low point and it’s hard to remember to bring out the camera. Should be getting it. Back in the next 2wks in Tahiti and I’ll have Rob show that. Thanks for your suggestion!

So was this 7 years of working up to this point? Or just dreaming? Would really love to understand people’s timelines from decision to execution and the milestones it took. Our main focus for the last 2 years is trying to get boat money, now we are working on training too.

We discovered this lifestyle and made it a goal 7 years ago, we trimmed our budget and started actively saving towards it with the idea to do this when Davis graduated. We moved it up after COVID.

I've known people use every inch of 300 ft chain they have anchoring there. They'd also say every one anchors to close and drags.. I hope you are ok and have bunches of fun!
@SailingParadiseFalls

We used almost 275ft in Fatu Hiva but other places have been much less. Yes, people anchor very close 😊

We have a 2023 Leopard, and our Quattro 5k blew twice, both while running the generator. In Georgetown, several other boats of different makes had the same problem. Sounds like a bad batch of Quattros
