most short films inspired by wkw rarely have much of an identity of their own beyond the visual composition. but this really feels so solid everything from the intermingling of korean and english monologue to the amount of depth created around these two eclectic characters in such a short amount of time. i want more

All the shots are so reminiscent of Wong Kar-Wai yet they feel individual, you guys should definitely be proud, it paints a very specific moment in time for 2 people so extraordinarily well and in this style it makes me further understand the characters as being human beings. The (sometimes) erratic movements of the camera and the characters force me to relate to the reality of friendship I could liken it to a ship in the ocean in that for every wave the ship meets it stays for different lengths of time and height, could the friend be that never ending wave, something mythical….. imaginary, or could it be the wave which crashes like any other, anyways my rambling may not make any sense but I hope this does. When did you get into film making? and what gave you the courage to do so?. I would like to start myself but I don’t know if I possess the confidence.

Wow the colour grading and camera angles are reminiscent of Wong kar wai’s style yet you also put your own creative touch to it. Your ability to creatively tell a story about the strong of friendship in such a short amount of time is just amazing. I wish I had your creativity 😭

This is so good! The actors suited this so well. I’m really impressed with the quality of this film, the cinematography, and of course the directing! I'm glad that this style of film is coming back! I hope there is more to come. :)

I’m so amazed by how good this is . Reminds me of wong Kar Wai movies. The shots are so accurate and have been taken so well . I like how there’s no rules to these type of movies , it kind of feels more “ free “ . Also the editing is so good and it’s giving that “90’s Hong Kong vibe”. The script is also very original and was put eloquently together . The script has an open end and an open beginning and that’s what is makes it special ( meets the criteria of a short film obvi but it gets the audiences attention because we want to know how what happened before or what’s going to happen next ) . I was so caught off guard when I heard the Korean , it was unexpected. Since I understand Korean it felt very “ familiar” in a sense. The English after also caught me off guard because it was unexpected but different. There’s a lot of diversity integrated into your work ,which I find extremely fascinating. I am rooting for you , I know you will get the recognition you deserve . Also you motivated me to start filming again :)

I just stumbled on this video and man, the whole cinematography, the actors, the storyline, even the dialogues are curated so perfectly together! Definitely it has the Wong Kar Wai feel, but also there's the originality too. It was hardly 3 mins but i know how many hours have been put into making this piece, a huge kudos to whole team! Brilliant work!

Truly beautiful work. I stumbled upon this short film around the near perfect time in my life for me to do so. I myself can relate to this & it made me honestly feel a little safer in my skin, down to the cigarettes. Made me very emotional, though not hard to do, struck a deeper chord for me. I really like the idea of this friendship being depended on us. In the last second we saw the black coat guy moving closer to his friend. I believe he would draw bad things like a kid on his friend's face and....they meet in the next Thursday. Who knows? We have so many different concept of them in our mind. This is set up as a short film and the quality helps to provoke feelings, yet I want to dive into the plot. Maybe one time I write....
